  Joao (John) is an outstanding tour guide! He shared a lot of interesting information, was very flexible with our schedule and needs, gave great advice, shared and showed us so many points of interest. We had a group of 10 ages 3 to 65 and he accommodated all our differing needs very well. He was incredibly thoughtful and great with our group, including our teenagers and toddlers. We all felt like we were with a family member with John. He is like that great uncle that all kids love to play with, the teenagers like to hang with because he is cool, and the adults admire his professionalism and free spirit! Take the worry out of your future trip to Portugal and ask for John, he will take the chaos out of any situation and make it the best family vacation ever!

  Booked a private 10 day tour from Lisbon to Porto for four of us. Our guide, Andre, was the best. Very knowledgeable, fun, and always on time. This was our first time visiting Portugal and could not have asked for a better experience. We had a 3 day stop for a wedding in the middle of the trip and Portugal Magik Private Tours accommodated us throughout the trip. Would highly recommend both the company and Andre.

  I traveled with a group of 12 women walking the Camino in Portugal and Spain. Our tour guide Vasco was attentive to every detail and need we had, and they were varied because we all had different abilities and interests. We had an amazing time. Vasco went above and beyond, taking group photos and videos for us so we can always remember our time together.   We organized a family trip for 27 with Gonzalo at Portugal Magik. Gonzalo and his team were very helpful and efficient in getting our 8 day Portugal trip tailored to meet our needs. Portugal is a beautiful country and 8 days is only enough to see some highlights, but our stay left us all wanting to return again. Our driver and guide, Joao, were top notch. We felt safe and well-cared for as we traveled around Portugal. Joao was able to share so many interesting facts and places with us, things we surely would have missed if left on our own. Portugal Magik is a company that others could learn from, thank you Gonzalo and your amazing team for making our stay in Portugal safe and memorable.

  We spent twelve wonderful days touring with Vasco, our new friend. From the time he meet us at the airport in Lisbon until he dropped us off at the airport in Porto, everything was organized perfectly. He showed us all over his beautiful Portugal with so much knowledge, history, insights and pride. He spent time getting to know the four of us and adjusted our daily visits depending on our interests and needs. During our visit, the entire country experienced a power outage. Vasco went out of his way to buy us some water, fruit and snacks to take back to our hotel. He recommended many local restaurants and places of interest for us to do on our own and they were exactly what we wanted. We had lunch with him each day and he always recommended that we try some of the local specialties, from sardines and traditional fish stew to the most wonderful pastries. During this time, we talked about many different things -our families, our countries and just life in general. Everyone that we dealt with from Portugal Magik as we planned our trip was highly professional, extremely helpful and pleasant. • Outstanding 12 Days in Portugal.

  Simply put, an outstanding 12 Days with Victor. After departing the airport, had an excellent informative short 3 hour tour around Lisbon. Next day was another great day with Victor, started our day at Pasteis de Belem, to try their famous Pastels De Belim. (Outstanding). Spent the remainder of the day sightseeing on the outskirts of Lisbon, unfortunately our day ended and we had to return to our hotel. On May 14th, Victor drove us to Vigo, Spain to meet friends and start our 10 day Camino Walk. On May 23rd, Victor picked us up in Santiago, Spain, to start 2 wonderful days in Porto. Victor felt bad that we did not get to see what had been planned in Porto on the 23rd, due to our late arrival in Porto from Santiago. The next day after an amazing day in the Douro Valley, Victor took extra time to show us what we had missed the previous day. We then returned to Lisbon, for 6 outstanding days with Victor. While all tours were outstanding, we especially loved his out of the way small restaurants he picked for our daily lunches, in addition we looked forward to Victor’s daily suprises, he had planned for us. His suprises were not part of the daily itinerary. Saying goodbye to Victor on the 1st of June, was emotional, Like saying goodbye to a family member. Well done Portugal Magik Tours and Victor.

• An Unforgettable and Magical Portugal Trip!

  Words cannot really explain and describe how wonderful a time me and family had during our pilgrimage to Fatima and the extended holiday and trip we had in Portugal . This was made possible by Portugal Magic Private Tours who actually listened and helped with our trip itinerary. What made even more special was the guide who was appointed to us ,Victor ! He was the best and made the trip even more enjoyable, rememberable,special,very personal and was more like a friend and family than just a guide . His knowledge and experience was everything one could ask for as guide and he knew how to cater to what our interest were buy getting to know how he could make this trip even more special .I would definitely recommend this company and guide to anyone who is thinking about experiencing Portugal . My mum is 80 and she has difficulty walking fast and up and down stairs .Our Victor took extra care of my mum and made sure she had the same experience as My sister and I .He made sure she was always comfortable and he even went out of his way to make sure my mum did not have to endure hard climbs but yet had the experience we did and for that we are ever grateful for the professionalism set by both Portugal Magik and our Guide Victor . We will definitely use them again for our next trip to Portugal and Spain, Obrigado our new found friends!
