This was definitely the best tour of our vacation. It’s a long 12-hour trip — not cheap, but absolutely worth every cent. You can book it with complete confidence. It’s not just about reaching the Top of Europe (Jungfraujoch); the journey itself is part of the experience, with stunning scenery along the way there and back. The transportation includes a combination of bus, cable car, cogwheel train on the way up, panoramic train on the way down, and a final return by bus. Our guide, Andrea, and her assistant, Yuxia, shared a lot of interesting information throughout the entire day. They were very friendly and attentive, answering all our questions and offering great tips. We had an unexpected delay on the way back and had to take a detour, which made the return to Zurich longer than planned, but our driver handled everything with great responsibility.

Excellent driving by bus drivers under very wet roads & slippery conditions through a very mountainous area. Safety was a top priority. Interesting commentary on the part of the tour guides who were both courteous & helpful. Serious overcrowding going up to the Jungfraujoch.

Do not book an overnight stay with this group. They literally put us in a nursing home. When I called to complain, they were dismissive and said that it has good reviews and it’s a three star hotel. I said clearly you haven’t been here because it is literally attached to a nursing home. I never checked in the hotel, which wasn’t available for us and did not have a place to put large luggage, and instead spent $1000 out of my pocket to go stay in a actual hotel and not a medical award converted to a room. Highly disappointed that this is “” the best of Switzerland “ I’ve been to Switzerland dozens of times and this is the only poor experience I’ve ever had. I was very disappointed in the customer service when I called them about this matter as well. If you don’t believe me, go look at hotel artos in interlaken. It states it is attached to the nursing home and the reviews are very poor about the fact that it’s not really a hotel. It’s like a medical ward.

I was left alone at the meeting point for Jungfraujoch tour and picked up by Dan who took care of me very well and another guide who was Swiss took responsibility on my trip well. I was very anxious at starting point of the tour. However my tour turned out to be fun. Thank you for helps by the two guides.

Biggest thanks to Ping and Diego … ohh my lord how great were they sorting and organising 37 people on a very long 12 hour tour! So many instructions needed and they gave nothing but professional and perfection to us all! As for the tour WOW there are not enough adjectives in the dictionary to explain the absolute spell binding, mind blowing and in awe delights given to us highlighting this most spectacular beautiful country. The scenery, greenlands, waterways, flowers, aesthetically decorated townships, chalets and architecture is breath taking. Then the engineering of the access, gondola and train system (since 1912!!) to get us to 4000m high is mind boggling!! Then the MAJESTIC MOUNTAINS & GLACIER brings tears to your eyes! To top off what couldn’t get any better was the Crystal Restaurant the best steak my husband has ever eaten!! Splendid, superior, supreme✨✨

This is an amazing trip up the side of the Eiger peak to Jungfraujoch. We were staying in Grindelwald so we got our trains and cable cars discounted with a family rail ticket as we were travelling on by rail in any case. I will say that if any family member tends to suffer motion sickness then the cog train might not be for you. My daughter had to go down once we got to Kleine Sheidegg as we were told the altitude might make her worse. When we got to the top the first thing that I felt was extreme breathlessness and giddiness for a few minutes. Nobody had told me that being at 11000+feet affects one in 50 people, and they may require a period of adjustment. I felt as though I had aged about 20 years on the train journey. The peak itself is good fun and the children went tobogganing - snow being enough of a novelty even in an Irish winter, so snow in July is completely weird. We went up to the viewing platform and fed some choughs (plentiful as pigeons up there and quite tame) before we came down again. I didn't bother with the chocolate heaven or the ice palace etc as they seemed to be just gimmicks to my mind. I suppose we didn't do all that much up there but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I will say that the restaurant is quite expensive - we paid more than 20 euro for 2 hot chocolates and a coke - so bring sandwiches. The cable car journey on the way down was spectacular - and accomplished the journey in half the time that the train did. Just be aware that the cable car goes from Grindelwald Terminal and not Grindelwald.

Here is the issue The Cosby offers a one day or TWO DAY tours. Never Ever book 2 day tour MASSIVE RIPOFF .the first day they left at 8 got to Lucerne and only pick up passengers at a hotel . ABSOLUTELY Nothing ELSE. They then drove to interlaken and arrived by 1030. They said okay bye See you tomorrow. Gave a map and said walk to your hotel in the rain (15 ) Minutes) The hotel was the Argos If you Google this it comes up as zentrum Argos A REHAB FACILITY n community center I think for injury n seniors because most going around in wheelchairs. Then you can't check in till 3. Had to leave luggage in storage facility in the center . Interlaken is really just a lot of watch and chocolate shops gathering to toursts(although one can do cable car up mountain on a clear day -- but why since next day to Jungfrau is a much better trip) In fact on their one day tour they drop you off for an hour to use toilet since nothing else there. The second day the trip to Jungfrau greatFor $500 extra rip off . I do plan to file complaint with the travel agency(trip advisor -viatour and the credit card company) this how bad it was . Why pay $500 + for this . You could do a day trip on the train for $50 and not satay in a community center NOT A TWO DAY TOUR
