Join us for two of Tasmania's best tourist attractions - The natural beauty of Bruny Island and the Historic Port Arthur penal colony.
Day 1: Bruny Island - Arguably Tasmania's best day trip! This magical Island has a little piece of everything Tasmania has: World-class beaches, rugged coastline and native wildlife matched with the finest local produce from the ocean and the land - a tour you do not want to miss! You will see firsthand why Bruny Island is fast becoming one of Tasmania’s most popular tourist destinations. The bus departs Hobart at 7:30 AM and returns at 5:30 PM.
Day 2: The Port Arthur tour is a direct, 8 hour tour from Hobart to the Tasman Peninsula and Historic Site. You will have 4 hours to explore the rich colonial history at Port Arthur. Explore the sights of the Tasman Peninsula: Eaglehawk Neck's Pirates Bay lookout, Dog Line Monument, Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry, Lavender Farm and Remarkable Cave. Departs Hobart at 9:30 AM.

Port Arthur Historic Site
Eaglehawk Neck
On route to Port Arthur, we will stop at Eaglehawk Neck’s Pirate Bay lookout and the Dog Line monument to soak up the scenery and have a photo opportunity or two!
The next stop will have the mouths of sweet tooths watering as we visit the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry.
The beautiful Port Arthur Lavender Farm. Explore the unique handmade products made from Tasmanian Lavender and take a stroll around the scenic lavender trail.
Port Arthur Historic Site
Immerse yourself in the fascinating, rich and dark history of the best-preserved penal settlement in Australia. Admission is at own cost and entry fee will include a 35-minute guided walking tour and a 20-minute harbour cruise. Stay the full 4 hours or hop back on the bus after 3 hours for one more experience: Maingon Bay and the Remarkable Cave.
Remarkable Cave
You will be greeted with the spectacular vista of Maingon Bay. At the lookout you can take in the exceptional views of Penguin Rocks and the bay. You can then descend down the 115 steps to view the Remarkable Cave from a viewing platform where you will be surrounded by ancient sandstone cliffs
Bruny Island Day Tour

Capture the iconic Bruny Island image atop the lookout with 360 degree of views of the Tasman Sea, Tasman peninsula, North and South Bruny Island and Mt Wellington
Adventure Bay
Adventure Bay beach is the perfect spot for a fresh morning swim or a chance to grab yourself a cup of coffee from the local store.
Mavista Falls
Step into this temperate rain forest and smell the clean crisp air while taking in mother natures vibes. This 20 minute return walk will give you an idea of the many environments on this magnificent Island

Alonnah, home to the Hotel Bruny pub which is where we will stop for lunch
Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tours
Spend 30 minutes exploring picturesque Cape Bruny with the second oldest original tower in Australia.
Bruny Island Honey
We take some time to stop and check out The Honey Pot where you can sample some beautiful honey or hear all about the 1000 hives on the island!
Another opportunity to taste some of Bruny's premium produce. Bruny Island Cheese Company is a great spot to grab a tasting or purchase some cheese to enjoy later on

5.00Ben was an exceptional tour guide during our trip to Bruny Island. His friendly and approachable nature instantly made us feel at ease. He went out of his way to ensure everyone in the group was comfortable and well taken care of. Ben’s knowledge of the island’s history, wildlife, and local spots added depth to the experience, and his genuine enthusiasm for sharing it was infectious. He was attentive to every detail, from answering our questions to making sure we had the best opportunities for photos and exploration. A truly memorable experience thanks to Ben’s outstanding guidance! Jodie was also an outstanding tour guide during our visit to Port Arthur, Tasmania. Her deep knowledge of the site's history, combined with her engaging storytelling, brought the stories of the past to life. Jodie’s ability to balance historical facts with light humor made the tour both educational and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

5.00The 2 day highlights tour was phenomenal. A must if you don’t have a car. The tour guide, Bunzy was fantastic - he really made the trip memorable and awesome. He was knowledgeable, funny and personable and made extra stops into towns and took the scenic route to make it extra special. The tour was detailed in explaining the history and locations. Bruny island is beautiful and Port Arthur was idyllic. The tour was a great way to see it. No complaints. Highly recommend for solo or group.

5.00Amazing day out with Tassie Tours Tasmania! We had done Port Arthur the day before with Andrew and did Bruny on the back of that because Andrew was fantastic!! Most incredibly delicious seafood chowder we have ever had from Hotel Bruny. Best oysters ever with wasabi cream from Get Shucked! Amazing cheese from Cheese and Beer Co. Picked up some Black Pudding beer as well!! I could survive on Bruny with just these 2 places! And of course the scenery was breathtaking as you would expect. Thanks again Andrew you are awesome!! Jac and Paul x

5.00A two day tour of Bruny Island and the Tasman Peninsula which included Port Arthur and Remarkable Cave. Two days filled with stunning scenery, culinary delights, a nice mix of walking and coach touring. Also lots of information delivered with a warm sense of humour. Thank you Andrew for a terrific two days experiencing and exploring a portion of Tassie paradise.
Our tour guide, Jodi is friendly and thoughtful. She has alerted in advance to us on the erractic weather.

5.00The weather is unpredictable and flop flopable; one minute it is raining and the next minute it is sunny. Port Arthur is so scenic though how it comes into being is so saddening.

5.00Both trips were excellent, the scenery was amazing and both tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Only comment for the Bruny Island trip was lunch would have been better at the cheese and wine stop.

5.00Amazing and interesting day spent at Port Arthur historical site and the following day spent on Bruny Island. Bruny was spectacular, the views, the beach, the little lagoon, lunch was great. The pub serves massive amounts of food!

5.00Had a wonderful 2 days seeing the sights. I had Jody, our tour guide for both days and she was excellant. Very knowledgable & very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was very accommodating. Both days were very well organised. I especially loved the day at Bruny island. I highly recommend both day trips.
