08:00 our driver waits you in the lobby of your Amman hotel. He is holding an orange signage with your name written on it. He will take you for 4 hours to Wadi Rum.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Wadi Rum is a vast, silent landscape of the ancient riverbeds as well as the largest and most magnificent desert landscape of Jordan. Upon arrival transfer to a four-wheeled Jeep with a local Bedouin driver at the wheel. Explore sites such as the Nabataean temple, the Lawrence spring, named after the famous film Lawrence of Arabia. You can climb to the top of the Little Bridge, scramble up the red sand dune and see the ancient inscriptions at the Khazali Canyon. You'll have the option to add a camel ride at Wadi Rum at your own expense.

Transfer from Wadi Rum about 1.5 hours to your booked Petra hotel.
Petra Visit – Amman Hotel
Petra
Visit Petra, the “Red Rose City” and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Prepare yourself for a lot of walking at the sand and rocks. Upon arrival (if selected with local guide) a local guide will meet you at the Petra visitor center. He will guide you for 2 hours. Petra is the biggest attraction of Jordan and was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Walk through the canyon or so called Siq to see the most beautiful monument: The Treasury Building rising over 140 feet and continue via the Street Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. You will have a free time after to explore the other sites on your own. After the tour, meet our driver at the gate of the Visitor’s Center.

4.00My driver/guide was very knowledgeable and efficient in getting me from place to place. I wish that he had accompanied into some of the places I visited, instead of telling me what to expect and then leaving me on my own. I did rely on him to good effect. I stayed at a hotel in Amman on my first night that didn’t give me a choice about a room in which people smoke. I don’t smoke and am quite sensitive to the smell of stale cigarettes. Otherwise, my experience was quite good. I saw everything I wanted and more!

5.00When I arrived in Jordan from Egypt, I didn’t think it could get better—-until we met our driver/guide Mohammad Masoud! For the drive from Amman to Wadi-Rum and then to Petra, he answered all of our questions and always added a little local flavor. We stopped two times on the way to Rum to see sites and once to eat. After our time in the Rum with another driver, Mohammad then took us to our hotel in Wadi-Musa. The next day we spent at Petra (a quick note- when you are told the Monastery is a hard walk, believe them).Again, Mohammad went above and beyond to make this as easy and enjoyable as possible. Anyone who doesn’t try to get Mohammad (Mahmood) as your driver is making a mistake.

5.00We visited Jordan and wanted privately and independently to go around the main sightseeings of the country like Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. Mr Saber drived us to all these places with safety and comfort. He went the extra mile by sharing with us interesting facts about all the areas he drove us through and was always more than happy to accommodate all our needs and follow our schedule. Mr Saber's professionalism and kindness elevated our experience and I cannot think of any better company for our next visit in Jordan. Thank you 🙏

4.00I love Jordan, the deserts, the people, the food. We spent 3 days in Amman, Petra and Wadi Rum. Walking around the Amman Citadel was beautiful and calming. Petra was magical and we could have spent days there. Ali, our English speaking guide for Petra was and fantastic. He was professional, very knowledgeable and well respected by the Bedouins of the area. The vistas at Wadi Rum are spectacular. If there were time I would have liked to camp there. Thanks to Jordan Petra Tours for accommodating our last minute travel changes. Hotels: Amman, Prime Hotel: 2 stars. Avoid at all cost. Petra, Petra Corner: 4 stars. Fantastic. Transfer: 5 stars Our Driver Mohamed Masoud was top-notch. He was an excellent driver. He was prompt, professional, friendly and protective of us as well. Ask for this driver by name.
