• I can't believe I waited this long to go kayaking!

  Our children have kayaked but my wife and I never had. When we got the impulse to join them during our Maine vacation, Stephan made it happen. One quick phone call and a couple hours later he arrived with a two-person kayak, paddles, and life vests. Off we went for three hours of kayaking in and around Cape Porpoise. We had a blast! Great exercise, fresh sea air, and plenty of sun. We had so much fun we rented again just a few days later. We're already looking forward to kayaking next summer. Thank you Stephan!

  The operator called me a few times to provide updates on city regulations that required launching from a different nearby location. No problem at all. We paddled out to Wood Island lighthouse. Amazing experience!

  Good customer service and great spot to Kayak. They drop the Kayak off at the boat ramp and give you quick advice on where to go. The pick up and drop off process was smooth. The islands and lighthouse were easy to get to and there was very little boat traffic to avoid.

  Goat Island lighthouse keeper gave us a great tour of island and let us into top of lighthouse with panoramic view. He gave us important tips to look for sites on other islands and to avoid poison ivy!

  A wonderful activity in Kennebunkport! My friend and I wanted to explore the natural landscape of Kennebunkport in a unique way, and renting these kayaks was perfect. It was amazing to have the freedom to row anywhere within our three hour time slot and explore on foot various islands in the Cape, which all had beautiful shells and sea glass! Highly recommend this activity with friends (and wear water shoes if you can!).

  We had a simply awesome day! We kayaked with our 3 young children (ages 8, 6, and 3). Stefan helped us navigate in and plan an adventure that was safe and fun. The kayaks were great and handled fabulously! We look forward to our next adventure with Stefan!

  Kayak Excursions was excellent. They were great on the phone in advising me on the best plan for me and my 10-year old son to do a 3-hour tandem kayak paddle. I originally thought we’d do the Mousam River but he patiently explained the tides and the Cape Porpoise paddle which was spot on. That’s what we decided to do and it exceeded expectations. The company’s email communications including waiver signing was easy to understand and thorough. When we met Stefan at the launch site he explained the area including places to avoid with heavy surf. We paddled to the Goat Island lighthouse (and walked up to the top), paddled by lobster boats, and played at a sand bar on Stage Island. Three hours was perfect as was Kayak Excursions. Thanks for a super fun afternoon.
