You can easily reach the good spots to search for the Northern Lights by snowmobile! The snowy forests look truly magical in the darkness, especially when they are lit by the moon and stars. Snowmobiling after dark is an experience in itself even if the auroras do not show up for us. The guide will tell you stories about the Northern Lights and if you are lucky, you might be able to experience them yourself!

Meeting time: 30 minutes before the start of your safari. Please be on time, as refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or no shows.
The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their driving license with them on the tour. According to Finnish traffic regulations, copies, photographs or digital licenses cannot be accepted. If you do not bring your driving license you won't be able to drive and no refund can be offered.
Wild Nordic has 0 tolerance for alcohol and drugs during the activities.
Children 4 - 14yrs paying the child price are entitled to a space in the sledge pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Children over 140cm may ride as a passenger on the snowmobile, when paying the adult price. Children 7 years and under should be accompanied by an adult in the sleigh. Please note, that we do not recommend snowmobile safaris for children under 4 years for their own comfort and safety.
Snowmobile tours are not suitable for pregnant women due to vibrations as a result of uneven tracks, and the presence of exhaust fumes of the snowmobiles.
The driver of the snowmobile is held liable for any damage caused to the snowmobile. The self liability amount for damage caused to the snowmobile is a flat rate of 900€. By purchasing an additional self liability waiver for 20€/driver you can reduce the self liability flat rate to 200€/driver/accident case.
Wild Nordic reserves the right to change the route and duration of all excursions due to the prevailing weather and snow conditions or in consideration of the safety and comfort of the participants. Wild Nordic reserves the right to discontinue the tour if a participant is seen as a potential danger to him/herself or to others or is in poor health. Pre-paid safaris will not be refunded in such cases.

Hop on a snowmobile and head into the snowy forests, where the moon and stars light up the landscape, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Even if the auroras don’t appear, the beauty of snowmobiling at night is an unforgettable adventure. Along the way, we’ll make a stop to prepare a tasty snack over an open fire, just like the locals do. We recommend having an early dinner before the departure. The driving time is approximately 2 hours and the driving distance depends on the driving skills of the group. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding is possible for an extra charge. Children 4 - 14 years will travel in a sleigh pulled behind the guide's snowmobile when child price is paid. Children over 140 cm can sit on a snowmobile, when paying adult price for the tour. Please note: The northern lights are a natural occurrence and we are unable to guarantee activity, vibrancy or colour on the evening of the tour.

5.00A great experience all alone for our family of 4. Our guide Nathan explained everything to us great and drove with us to the best places to discover the Northern Lights. Up on the mountain we got lucky. An unforgettable experience was also sitting comfortably by the fire in a samitippi with sausage grilling and marshmallows. Thanks for everything!

5.00We had a brilliant time on the 3hr snowmobile tour and although we didn’t see the northern lights due to heavy snowfall, Fabien made sure we had an amazing time nonetheless. The whole tour was fantastically organised with clear booking instructions, plenty of kit provided to ensure we were warm enough, and the team were all great. We’ve booked all our excursions for our visit to Levi with Wild Nordic and it’s been so easy and fun.

4.00Amazing experience snowmobiling under the stars with a fantastic guide! We did not see the lights but Lisa guided us to a place not far from Levi where we saw loads of stars when the forecast was heavily overcast in town. It was very enjoyable meeting others and learning how to snowmobile. The clothing was also extremely warm. Would do again!
