You can easily reach the good spots to search for the Northern Lights by snowmobile! The snowy forests look truly magical in the darkness, especially when they are lit by the moon and stars. Snowmobiling after dark is an experience in itself even if the auroras do not show up for us. The guide will tell you stories about the Northern Lights and if you are lucky, you might be able to experience them yourself!

Meeting time: 30 minutes before the start of your safari. Please be on time, as refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or no shows.

The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their driving license with them on the tour. According to Finnish traffic regulations, copies, photographs or digital licenses cannot be accepted. If you do not bring your driving license you won't be able to drive and no refund can be offered.

Wild Nordic has 0 tolerance for alcohol and drugs during the activities.

Children 4 - 14yrs paying the child price are entitled to a space in the sledge pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Children over 140cm may ride as a passenger on the snowmobile, when paying the adult price. Children 7 years and under should be accompanied by an adult in the sleigh. Please note, that we do not recommend snowmobile safaris for children under 4 years for their own comfort and safety.

Snowmobile tours are not suitable for pregnant women due to vibrations as a result of uneven tracks, and the presence of exhaust fumes of the snowmobiles.

The driver of the snowmobile is held liable for any damage caused to the snowmobile. The self liability amount for damage caused to the snowmobile is a flat rate of 900€. By purchasing an additional self liability waiver for 20€/driver you can reduce the self liability flat rate to 200€/driver/accident case.

Wild Nordic reserves the right to change the route and duration of all excursions due to the prevailing weather and snow conditions or in consideration of the safety and comfort of the participants. Wild Nordic reserves the right to discontinue the tour if a participant is seen as a potential danger to him/herself or to others or is in poor health. Pre-paid safaris will not be refunded in such cases.

Hop on a snowmobile and head into the snowy forests, where the moon and stars light up the landscape, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Even if the auroras don’t appear, the beauty of snowmobiling at night is an unforgettable adventure. Along the way, we’ll make a stop to prepare a tasty snack over an open fire, just like the locals do. We recommend having an early dinner before the departure. The driving time is approximately 2 hours and the driving distance depends on the driving skills of the group. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding is possible for an extra charge. Children 4 - 14 years will travel in a sleigh pulled behind the guide's snowmobile when child price is paid. Children over 140 cm can sit on a snowmobile, when paying adult price for the tour. The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their physical driving license with them on the tour. Please note: The northern lights are a natural occurrence and we are unable to guarantee activity, vibrancy or colour on the evening of the tour.

Amazing experience snowmobiling under the stars with a fantastic guide! We did not see the lights but Lisa guided us to a place not far from Levi where we saw loads of stars when the forecast was heavily overcast in town. It was very enjoyable meeting others and learning how to snowmobile. The clothing was also extremely warm. Would do again!

Great experience looking for the Northern Lights! We had the chance to witness an incredible show. I highly recommend this family adventure, but remember to cover up well: line the socks, gloves and take advantage of the wetsuits and boots provided to avoid the inconveniences related to the cold. Little tip: if you want to put a child behind you, the price is that of an adult, but it is definitely worth it. Many thanks to Alban, our passionate and caring guide, who made this experience even more memorable. An unforgettable adventure to share with your family!

Unforgettable Northern Lights safari! Fantastic snowmobile tour with Nordic Wildlife in Levi! Guide Fabian was professional and passionate. Beautiful nature, well maintained scooters and a magical northern lights. Hot drinks and a campfire made it complete. A must-do! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very accommodating company that quickly gave us a new date for this activity following a quid pro quo that made us miss our first appointment. Marie a guide at the top friendly and who is there to answer all our questions. Despite a high cloud density we were able to see a small white aurora with the naked eye and green on camera despite this other activities offers to fill the evening despite the absence of aurora , thank you marie for the fisherman hole in the ice 👌. I recommend 100% Marie👍👍👍🥰

Our family of six had a great time on the snow mobiles , there were 11 of us in total including our instructor Marie , we drove out for over an hour , driving over a frozen lake and following the trails then stopped for refreshments . Marie was excellent and was very helpful, she made arrangements for my wife to travel in a sled due to a skiing mishap which left her hand in a cast. On the way back the Northern lights even made a brief appearance. We all had a wonderful evening and would highly recommend Wild Nordic and Marie

Had an amazing evening on our tour— sadly no northern lights, but Ivan and Marie made the night amazing nonetheless. The hot berry juice and sausages at the “kota” was a great break in the snowmobiling adventure. Ivan and Marie were great at giving some information on Finland and Lapland the whole night.

It was a mega experience and worth every euro! Time passed quickly and thanks to the warm suits we were able to withstand it even in -30 degrees!
