During the flight you will see large scale ice formations, Crevasses, waterfalls and alpine huts. Once you have viewed the Fox Glacier you will make your way over to view the Franz Josef Glacier and make your Snow Landing.

Absolutely stunning and breath taking, very highly recommended to use this local company. Therese keep in contact with us as the weather didn’t want to play nicely, but when it finally did it was well worth the wait. For being my first trip in a helicopter, Michael was a great pilot and the trip was so smooth.

This was the most amazing excursion / trip we did over the three weeks we were on the South Island. From start to finish it was throughly enjoyable. Being able to get out on the glacier and having a wander round on the snow and ice was incredible. Would do it again in a heart beat.

We booked with Mountain Helicopters last minute and were extremely lucky to experience our helicopter journey over Fox Glacier & Franz Josef, the pilot was so experienced and ensured we had an unforgettable time. This company go the extra mile! Highly recommend this company, local kiwis and friendly, very knowledgeable about the glaciers.
