Aswan High Dam
start your day tour by visiting the High Dam, achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electricity. Prepare yourself for a particularly overwhelming sightseeing experience, Aswan High Dam is truly impressive. The Dam is 3600 metres long, 980 metres thick at base and 111 metres tall (at its highest point). The water of Lake Nasser, the world's largest man-made lake, have amassed behind it. It provides irrigation water and electricity for the whole of Egypt. Located 13 km south of Aswan then drive to visit philae temple.
Temple of Philae
Proceed to visit Philae Temple, the Greaco Roman temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. This beautiful temple complex is one of the most picturesque in all of Egypt. It sits on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam.The temple was moved to its current location following the construction of the High Dam, which threatened to submerge it permanently. The careful reconstruction at the current site carefully completed, painstakingly preserving the original appearance and layout of the complex and even landscaping the island to match its former location. Philae rose to prominence during the Ptolomaic Dynasty as the center of the cult of the goddess Isis. This complex was actually one of the last remaining places where the ancient religion survived after the arrival of Christianity in Egypt, officially closing only in 551 AD. Early Christians then used the main temple on the island as a church. - Drive back to your Nile cruise and overnight in Aswan.

Around 4:30 AM pick up for the incredible memorable trip of Hot Air Balloon ride over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the city landscape and famous landmarks.
Colossi of Memnon
After the Balloon ride you will have a photo stop by Colossi of Memnon, two magnificent twin statues image of pharaoh Amenhotep III and two smaller statues carved by his feet (one being his wife and the other his mother), stands graciously in the horizon of the magnificent Luxor horizons. The two statues, each measuring 60 feet tall, stands in the entrance of Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple. They are famously named by the name of Colossi of Memnon due to a phenomenon produced by one of the statues after an earthquake. Originally built in the Theban Necropolis in the west of the Nile River in the modern city of Luxor, the Colossi of Memnon, two colossal statues made of quartzite sandstone, which archaeologists believe was quarried at El-Gabal el-Ahmar, located near modern Cairo and then transported 420 miles overland to the ancient city of Thebes, remain after thousands of years. Then drive to Hatsheput temple.

4.00私達はなぜかツアーの途中からの参加になりました。同じ料金を払っているのにです。 その為、1番楽しみにしていたアブ・シンベルに行けませんでした。ツアー会社からはアブ・シンベルに行けないと連絡が来ましたが、前日の午後5時と遅すぎる時間でキャンセル出来ませんでした。 このことをviatorを通してツアー会社に連絡しましたが、返事がありませんでした。 なのでガイドの人にこのことを話して彼の上司の番号をもらい、連絡しましたがそれも返事がきません。 私達がこのツアーに参加することを決めたのはアブ・シンベルに行けるからです。ですが、このツアーのせいで私達はアブ・シンベルにいけず謝罪どころか説明もされず、連絡すらつきません。 この失礼でひどすぎる対応にはがっかりです。ほんとは星1をつけたいところですが、ガイドの人が素晴らしかったので星4にしました。 特にMahmoudは素晴らしいガイドです。彼は知識が豊富で分かりやすく説明してくれます。そしてフレンドリーではっきりと喋ってくれるので理解しやすいです。 ですが彼の1番素晴らしいところはとても親切なところです。 私達はツアーの途中からの参加になってしまったので、4日目は朝ごはんを食べたらそのまま解散の予定でした。 ですが彼にアブ・シンベルに行けなかったことを話すととても親身に聞いてくれ、そして彼が手配してくれたおかげで前日に乗れなかった気球に最終日に乗れることになりました。 そして最後の送迎まできちんと手配してくれ、私達は最後まで安心してツアーを終えることができました。 私達は彼にとても感謝しています。彼には星10をあげたいです。 そしてMohamed Gobranもとてもいいガイドです。 知識豊富で説明がとても分かりやすかったです。 そしてチェックインの手配までしてくれました。 船の部屋は綺麗で毎日ハウスキーピングしてくれます。毎日タオルでなにか作ってくれるのが楽しみでした。 ご飯も美味しく15時にはお茶の時間もあり、充実した時間が過ごせます。 ツアーの途中に入れたのに謝罪も説明もなく、返事もしないツアー会社の態度には憤りを感じますが、それ以外は素晴らしいツアーです。 特にMahmoudは素晴らしい人です。 ツアー会社の対応がひどいのですごくおすすめは出来ませんが、チャレンジしてみてもいいかもしれません。 I would have given it 1 star, but the guide was great, so 4 stars. We were in the middle of the tour for some reason. We paid the same price. We were not able to go to Abu Simbel, which we were looking forward to the most, because of this. The tour company informed us that we could not go to Abu Simbel, but we could not cancel the tour because it was too late at 5 pm the day before. I contacted the tour company through viator about this, but they never responded. So I told the guide about this and got his supervisor's number and contacted him, but he did not respond either. We decided to take this tour because we could go to Abu Simbel. However, because of this tour, we were not able to go to Abu Simbel, and we have not received any explanation, not even an apology or a call back. I am very disappointed with this rude and terrible treatment. I would have given this tour 1 star, but the guide was wonderful, so I gave it 4 stars. Mahmoud in particular is an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable and explains things clearly. He is friendly and speaks clearly so it is easy to understand. But the best thing about him is that he is very kind. We were in the middle of our tour, so on the fourth day we were going to have breakfast and then just leave. But when we told him that we could not go to Abu Simbel, he was very kind and helped us arrange a balloon ride on the last day, which we could not do the day before. He also made sure that we were picked up and dropped off at the end of the tour, which we were able to do without any worries. We are very grateful to him. I would like to give him 10 stars. We are very grateful to him. And Mohamed Gobran is also a very good guide. He spoke clearly and made gestures so it was very easy to understand. He even arranged for us to check in. The rooms on the ship are clean and they do housekeeping every day. I looked forward to them making something with towels every day. The food is delicious and there is a tea time at 3pm to make sure you have a good time. I resent the attitude of the tour company who never responded to us and never apologized or explained when we let them in the middle of the tour, but other than that it is a great tour. Mahmoud in particular is a wonderful person. I can't recommend it highly enough because the tour company is terrible, but you might want to give it a try.

4.00Overall, a good experience. The most positive thing is the boat. We sailed aboard the Steinberger Minerva. Beautiful boat. Very nice and attentive staff. The meals were excellent. The napkin sculptures were a real pleasure when we went back into the cabin. The only real downside is the change in program that we were not notified of. Instead of leaving in the afternoon of the second day, the boat left only in the following night. As a result, all the navigation to KOM Ombo was done at night and we did not see the scenery. The 3rd day was the best as it is the only one where the ship sailed between Ko Ombo and Luxor stopping at Edfu and the scenery is beautiful. So we arrived at night in Luxor and no possible visits to Luxor were focused on the last day which is way too much. We were a small group of 8, ideal. We did not have a Mody tours coordinator on the boat but we receive the program the day before on WhatsApp. Everything was well organized. A driver or guide was waiting for us at the start of each visit. A different guide each time, of uneven quality but correct overall. In Luxor and Aswan, we had the inevitable commercial stoppage. The guide to Luxor was the worst, very quick explanations. The concentration of all visits to Luxor on one day was really problematic: up at 4am for the hot air balloon (it is an extraordinary experience but a later departure is possible because the flight really did not start until 7am. About 40 minutes flight. Then we had managed to negotiate breakfast on the boat rather than a breakfast box. And then the visits. We chose to stop after the Valley of the Kings + Hatshepsut Temple because it was almost 50° and we were visiting the hottest highs (due to the change of program). The rest of the group followed up with Luxor and Karnak which we did alone the next few days at less warm hours.

5.00This was an awesome experience, especially with a knowledgeable Tourguide and the fact that he can speak English well, really helps he’s been a great help. I definitely recommend this to someone who wants a good budget friendly cruise on the Nile.

5.00We really enjoyed this cruise – everything was well organised and the activities were great. It was a shame the hot air balloon was cancelled, but the rest of the trip made up for it. Our guide Mohamed Gobran was excellent. He explained the temples clearly and helped us understand their history and differences, which really added to the experience. He communicated well and gave us helpful tips along the way. Overall, a great trip – thank you!

4.00Guide worked very hard. Schedule very hectic. 5AM, even 4AM, start every morning. Cruise is fine. Crew is welcoming. Cabin is comfortable. Food is OK.
