Djúpalónssandur is a black pebble beach where sailors were selected right on the spot long ago. Men's strength was tested by lifting big rocks (23 to 155 kg) and heavy drifted wood logs and carrying or throwing them as far as possible. Today, we can still see the stones, many records on the shore the remainder of the rusty shipwreck. The site is kept untouched to connect with history.

Kirkjufell is a well-known and famously photographed mountain in Iceland. It was formed about 5 to 10 million years ago; its multi-layered tip gives it a unique and majestic look. its in the name CAMPEASY !! 5/12/22 to 12/12/22 flawless from the very beginning to the end and we could not be any more grateful for the opportunity to see this most amazing country we have ever visited ! the van was compact , reliable, clean 4x4 and most importantly WARM. There was so many things included as extras which came into so much use. The ONLY issue we had was the Ipad. we bought wifi as an extra and its a MUST however the Ipad lead was not charging so sometimes we had to take it into cafes to charge from an electrical source with a bit more power and we only contacted campeay the one time to ask for help regarding this. we did the ring road in 7 days so got to see so much and the memories will stay with us FOREVER an additional really cute touch was the store cupboard and fridge of food in date which previous travelers had left to use. We returned the favor on our return. campeasy we will be back we would like to see the country in the summer :) THANKYOU FOR THE PERFECT HOLIDAY

Great experience. Two of us rented a CampEasy 4WD VW camper (EasyClever 4x4) for a week in NW Iceland. As we expected, it gave us freedom to go anywhere we wanted including over rough roads, to change plans at last minute, and to stay at whatever campsite was in best location for the fun we were having. CampEasy made everything smooth and easy. Our bed was superbly comfortable, we could stow our gear and still operate with ease in the camper, and Iceland campsites were well equipped (always with warm spaces to cook & eat, and usually with free hot-water showers).
