HALONG BAY DISCOVERY ITINERARY 7 HOURS
- 10:00 – 10:30: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau harbour, guests will check-in in Carnival Cruises’s area.
- 10:30: Guests get on board and enjoy a welcome drink with smoothing music. The cruise departs from Tuan Chau harbor for a joyful journey to discover the beauty of the world heritage Ha Long Bay. Along the way, guests will have chance to pass through the grandeur of the legendary bay with thousands of limestone islands such as: Fighting cocks Islet, Elephant Foot Rock, Incensory Rock, Hoa Cuong Bay and especially Thumb Rock - a beautiful limestone islet rising from sea water in the shape of a giant thumb. Mother Nature has put Thumb Rock here to send a message of goodness to every passager cruising in the ancient bay.
- 11:10 – 12:10: Guests will enjoy a premium lunch featuring Quang Ninh’s famous fresh seafood and traditional Vietnamese dishes.
- 12:15: Stop at Bo Hon Island. Our tour guide will take you to Sung Sot Cave/Surprising Cave, the largest and the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. After about 200 steps under forest canopy, the entrance of the cave shows up. A paradise of appear in front of you. You will discover the cave in about 45 minutes before getting back to the cruise (For other tourists whom can’t walk much, you can stay on cruise, chilling out on the sundeck).
- 13:25: Visit the Luon Cave area where guests can kayak or take a bamboo boat or stay on the ship (Guests who do not use this service can stay on the ship and enjoy the Jaccuzzi). After exploring the cave and kayaking (about 1 hour), guests will be taken by boat to the Titov area.
- 14:45: Visit Titov Island, where guests can swim or sunbathe on the white sandy beach or climb to the top of Titov Mountain to see the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.
- 15:45: Guests return to the ship to join the Sunset Party, relax comfortably, and watch the gentle and peaceful sunset. Enjoy drinks along with snacks, cakes, and fresh fruits on the sundeck. In addition, a karaoke session on the sundeck adds to the fun, creating joyful and memorable moments.

3.00Need to factor in USD 25 costs for 2 hour each way transfer to/from Hanoi. Good itinerary lots of activities all with an additional cost. Seafood meal beautifully presented. All drinks extra. Suggest a budget double the cost of the tour for all the "extras" Jacuzzi on board and towels and shower facilities much appreciated

Great day at Halong Bay

5.00We are on a Princess cruise and chose this adventure over what the ship offered. Management was great, providing a car for the 30 minute drive to the tour boat from the cruise terminal at a very reasonable price. The day we were on the tour only 61 people of all ages were aboard so it was not crowded at all. The commentary was good and we enjoyed many activities in a very full day (10:00am to 5:30pm) Activities included a hike through a cave (which we declined as we are seniors and there were many stairs), a speedboat ride at extra cost, but lots of fun for 30 minutes, kayak or rowboat time for 60 minutes (included) and a visit to a beach for an hour. We chose to stay on board at the beach and used the hot tub instead. Very nice washrooms and showers. The buffet lunch at around 11:30a.m. was bountiful and delicious. Lots of choice for everyone. Beverages were reasonable and especially on the thrip back when Happy Hour offered drinks at 2 for 1. There were afternoon tea goodies served on the way back to the port, where we found our driver from the morning awaiting us. All in all, a great day's outing and very good value.
