This is a compact tour that hits all the main historic sites in the old town before lunch. Our guide, Seamus, was exceptional; highly informative and engaging with good projection and a nice touch of humour. I have done many guided historic tours, and Seamus is as good as it gets.

PJ was an exceptional guide. Knowledge thorough, demeanor delightful and perspective quite interesting given his English citizenship. Who doesn't love a British accent of civilized erudition?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a great experience on this walking tour of Philadelphia’s historic district! My guide, Jonathan, was absolutely fantastic—extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history of the city. It ended up being just me on the tour, which made it feel like a private experience. Jonathan took the time to answer all my questions and shared so many fascinating details that really brought the city’s history to life. I learned so much and had a wonderful time. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Philadelphia —especially if you’re lucky enough to have Jonathan as your guide!

I travel for work and do tours/activities all over the country - this is the first time I have ever written a bad review. I prefer to give people/companies the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they were having a bad day? But this time, I had to speak up. We had an hour and a half to get a historical tour in a city whose history is absolutely remarkable. Instead, we spent the first hour literally on the same block the entire time basically listening to this tour guide’s political opinions. One of the most fascinating periods of history and this guide chose to address it in this fashion. I was extremely disappointed and could have gotten so much more out of my brief time in the area by walking through it myself. As if that wasn’t bad enough, just having knowledge and opinion of a topic doesn’t qualify one to be a good tour guide. The delivery was also disjointed and rambling with no clear direction. On several occasions, people in a tour group, some of them younger, were put on the spot by being posed questions they were unable to answer. And not in a funny, light way, but in an awkward and embarrassing fashion. (I wasn’t questioned personally, but did feel bad for those who were.)
