  This was for my son’s 17th birthday present! We had an amazing, memorable ride with our captain Bashir! He was funny and put everyone’s nerves at ease! Thank you to the drivers who did the pickup and drop off too!!

  All good! We were met at the correct time. Everything was explained on arrival. Our pilot was very competent and friendly. We really enjoyed it all and would recommend the experience.

  The hot air balloon ride provided by Atlas -was one of the best well organised excursions I have done in Marrakesh. And I have done quite a few. Thank you to Pilot Rachid who gave us good safety briefing at the start and making us feel comfortable and safe. And thank you for bringing us back down to earth with a very smooth Landing. Was surprised and felt safe to see that a team of 8 to 10 persons had to work on the ballon to facilitate smooth landing by holding down the ballon and anchoring it to near by jeeps, so that ballon does not turn over or get blown away from sudden gust of wind! Thank you to people carryer driver Salim who picked and dropped us off from agreed meeting point near our Riad/ hotel. Also have to thank Amina, Tariq & Youness of the videography recording and editing team. They carefully deployed drones that flied around our ballon while we were in flight and recorded our flight. We were celebrating our 27th marriage anniversary and this team made a special video presentation for us which was excellent. Finally with all the balloon ride excitement and enjoying great breakfast at base camp we forgot to bring our bag with us to our hotel. While we were near to hotel our driver Salim relayed the message that someone had left their bag at base camp and showed the picture on his mobile phone. I told him this bag was ours and immediately he reassured me that Atlas team shall arrange to get the bag into Marrakesh and I would not have to go and pick up from base camp. What a relief! I liaised with Atlas office manager Oumaima who informed me that my bag was already on its way to Marrakesh even before i got back to my hotel and I can go and collect bag from Atlas’s Marrakesh office. Oumaima watts apped me the officr address both in English and arabic so that I can show taxi driver the arabic address which helped a lot. She also sent me a photo of Atlas office building so that i can recognise the office once I get to address. Many thanks Oumaima.

  An absolutely stunning experience. A must do if you are staying near Marrakech. Omar collected us from our hotel at 4am and was fluent in English and French and chatted as we went to collect another couple. Half an hour later we arrived at the balloon camp which was extremely well organised and full of helpful, happy staff who could not do enough for us. We had tea and biscuits then went to our assigned vehicles. We arrived at our balloon that was being blown up and watched as 15 or so balloons set off in different stages. We climbed into our basket and up we went over the Atlas Mountains in the very capable hands of our wonderful pilot. Nothing was too much. He took photos of us all, organised us all to sing Happy Birthday to a lady whose 50th birthday it was and he was also happy to answer any questions. He too was fluent in both French and English. On landing we were driven back to base where a wonderful breakfast spread was laid out. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was helpful. It was a well oiled machine that ran very, very smoothly. I highly recommend this experience.

  I'm scared of heights and was nervous about this excursion, but looking at several TikToks put me at ease and made we realize I could not miss out on this experience. We had an EARLY morning wake up call and met our driver who took us to the the hot air ballooning site. The itinerary was followed according to the Viator description. At the base camp we got some tea and snacks, then off to get in a balloon. Our balloonist, Bachir, was amazing. He explained everything he was doing, had us wave to a drone who followed up taking video, helped us with photos so we had nice keepsakes, and answered all our questions. He said it'd be a 45-60 flight and the time flew by. Soon enough we were having a sporty landing and him and his ground crew guaranteed we got back safely. The breakfast after was great and they have cute set-ups for more photos. It was a GREAT experience. Both me and my friend, who was also unsure about the trip, were handily proven wrong. I highly recommend and will be doing this same excursion in other locations around the world. My one rec for nervous flyers, look out onto the horizon and the landscape. Don't look down.
