Lempuyang temple also known as “The Gate of Heaven” is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples. Its gate splits into two parts perfectly as Mt Agung sits right behind in the background. Together with the sloped terrain of the mountain, it makes one of the most picturesque views on your social media feed. You did not see Bali's natural beauty if you did not visit this place. It takes about 2 hours to reach here and we speed another 1 hour exploring and taking loads of pictures.
Tirta Gangga
Tirta Gangga literally means the water from Ganga (Ganges), highly revered amongst Balinese Hindus. It has a large land area with a historic legacy. It was built by the late king Karangasem in 1946 and miraculously survived yet one of the largest eruptions of Mt. Agung in 1963. The lush green compound comprises a maze of ponds with various significance and beauty, as well as water fountains with statues of deities. You can also feed vibrantly colourful KOI fishes and take pictures and if time allows, splash into a refreshing swimming pool that circulates the natural spring water.

4.00Our tour guide Mr. Tutu was absolutely Great! This was my first tour after having 2 knee replacement surgeries this year as I'm still recovering from the 2nd surgery. There is a very steep long hill to climb to get to the temple and the beautiful scenery to take the pictures at "the heaven garden" but I must admit even though I had to stop halfway up it was so worth the climb. My husband and tour guide Tutu were so helpful and patient with me. Would I do it again? Absolutely 🤗

5.00We definitely enjoyed the flexibility Agunk gave us in letting us decide where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do while also giving us his great local advice on the best spots to go. He also provided us with our own time so we could explore out on our own. Overall we enjoyed the freedom Agunk gave us while giving us guidance to ensure we had the best experience.

5.00We had a car rental with driver for 4 days plus transfers from/to the airport with Agunk Torres of Ubud Area Tours (please keep in mind rush hour can add 2-3 hours to the airport transfer). He organized everything perfectly according to our needs (no need to see everything Ubud offers, just pick a single waterfall - Tukad Cepung, a few temples of your choice, and Diamond or Kelingking beach). Agunk's restaurant recommendations were top notch (you have to try Satay with peanut sauce and Banana spring roll at Bebek Tebasari restaurant). Our primary communication was WhatsApp (used widely in Indonesia) and he kindly replied even in the late hours. His driver Butu was awesome - funny, communicative, knowledgeable, and speaks English well. Prices are affordable to Europeans and he accepts PayPal which helped us a lot. Highly recommended.

5.00Only great things to say about Agunk and his tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared insight and stories in an engaging way. He also provided great advice for being in Bali in general. I also appreciated how flexible he made the itinerary, suggesting an alternative, lesser known yet equally beautiful waterfall when I mentioned preferring something less crowded. If you’re looking for an experienced and local guide to get the most out of your time on this magical island, Agunk is your guy.

5.00Me and my girlfriend got picked up from our stay in Seminyak by Mr. Edy at 8am to take us to Ubud. The tour was all around excellent. First, I sent an email to Mr. Agunk asking for price, places to go etc and he helped me plan an itinerary to our needs which was very nice. Mr. Edy was a great driver who knew all the good roads, parking spots and restaurants. He was also an excellent guide who could explain alot of culture and information about all our stops. We visited Celuk village silver factory, Tirta empul tempel, Satria plantation, Tegenungan waterfall and monkey forest. 5/5 experience and I strongly recommend Mr. Edy to be your driver and guide.

5.00Ubud area Tours were very good, and assigned a driver to us (Putu) which a lot of knowledge about the area, culture, and locations. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone if they want a driver who is able to point out key elements in Ubud and provide a guide.
