Montse was very pleasant and passionate about the history behind the castle and Barcelona. She was very knowledgeable and delightful. She went out of her way to ensure that everyone was very comfortable on the tour and was very accommodating.

Great way to get an overview (literally) of Barcelona with a local guide that has tons of knowledge about the area. Our guide, Katty, provided great insight into the local scene and historical context. We saw Barcelonas quaint city streets and bustling La Ramba, then headed up the Funicular to the Cable Car then up to the highest spot in Barcelona, The Castle. The views from the terrace there were spectacular! Well worth a trip if you just have a short time to see the city.

Papa was a knowledgeable and energetic. She even helped us with transportation at the end of the tour. The cable car ride up Mount Montjuic gad amazing views.

I would give it a zero if I could! I’ve been on a tour to Montjuïc two years earlier - reading the provides signs was more informative than the tour and guide this time. In fact - more time was spent discussing the location of today’s modern port and airport (the tour guide actually spent time to tell us that here comes a plane and here comes another!) there was practically no information given about the history of “Mount Jew.” When asked about the various quadrants - they were referred to dungeons - in fact there were troops quarters, officers, armaments, etc. the mountain was a strategic position throughout history including Roman conquest through the Franco wars. I think they should ou is back double for wasting our time. I would recommend taking the tour but NOT with this guide. Or do a self tour.
