The guide was very good. I found that the wine experience was not very good. We seemed to be rushed to go through the tastings; this was advertised as a wine “tasting” but before we could take the time to properly taste, they were ready to pour the next one, in the same glass. Sparkling, white and red, all in the same glass! The Kies winery offered good explanation for the wines, they offered plenty of water and the wine was mostly very good. If all three had offered a similar experience, my rating would have been higher. The second winery was simply a sales pitch for the wines and the derivative product. Barely anything about the tasting. The third winery offered excellent explanations about the growing but very little about process and tasting. And their wine was not very good. The meal was offered between tastings. If we wanted wine we needed to buy it. There is a missed opportunity to combine one of the tasting with lunch. In wine tastings that I have done before this one, there was always something to snack on, like cracker or bread. None of them offered it which affects our capacity to adequately taste different wines. A lot of room for improvement!

Kye was an amazing tour guide and driver. Very informative and made the trip special by sharing stories and jokes. He knows Barossa very well even the small towns which made it very interesting. Lilly from Kies winery made the last winery stop quite memorable as she didn’t just talk about the characteristics of the wines but shared the stories behind every wines they have in Kies. Everyone in the group noticed her teary eyes when she shared the story behind the Dedication Shiraz, I thought I had enough glasses of wine when I saw her watery eyes but everyone noticed it as well so it wasn’t just me. Overall, the tour was amazing and I recommend everyone to give it not a try but a go.

Amazing tour, definitely worth taking. We had Aaron as our tour guide and he was great! Very friendly, very knowledgeable. Overall, I would genuinely suggest the tour to friends and/or take it again myself! 🍷🥂🍷

Kyle tour guide made and amazing day in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Great wines. Does favour wry nice fine reds and tasted a very special sparkling Shiraz.
