  We met out guide Juan promptly at the starting time. It was just my wife and I. I think Juan said he had been here 4 years. We got a little bit of the history and customs. When we would stop to take a photo he would keep walking. He never offered to take our photo. Also he would start a discourse with only one of us having caught up. All in all you would be better off with a Rick Steves book doing your own tour. Juan has potential but he needs some instruction from a seasoned guide.

  We thoroughly recommend going on this walking tour. Juan was a fantastic guide whose knowledge and enthusiasm for the city of Bern was evident throughout his tour. We really enjoyed the tour, found it very informative and interesting, and Juan’s friendly manner made it a joy. Many thanks Juan, your tour was the highlight of our trip.

  Lucas was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who showed us all around and timed it perfectly to make sure we could see the clock and bears! We appreciated the tips and accommodated all ages and walking speeds.

  10:00 Tour was cancelled by the provider. Credit card charge was not refunded. I searched for an alternative. There was another time slot available, at 13:00. I book it. Credit card was charged again. Shortly after that I got a message that 13:00 tour was canceled as well due to not meeting minimum number of attendees, which was 2 people. I was offered to pay for two people and have it as a private tour. I didn’t accept the offer. The first credit card charge moved from pending to posted today, one day after the tour date. The second charge is still pending. There are no pending credits from Viator.

  They changed the meet up point to something across town. When we communicated that we were walking to the new point, they said that they would wait for us because we were the only one on the tour. But when we got there, we waited for 30 minutes and no one showed up or communicated to us. We asked a refund and never heard a word. Terrible experience! Don’t book with them.

  He was so nice. We went at a reasonable pace. He was very knowledgeable about the city. We had a great experience and would do it again.
