  I was very surprised to see this railway and option from Milan even existed. We had searched for things to do in Milan and the idea of travelling to Switzerland for the day and taking a train through the alps felt like there must be a surprise I am missing. It was exactly what they say, a magical experience to take a train through incredible scenery. We got excited by the first mountain we saw, not realising that this was what we should get used to seeing for he next 2 hours. We went through June which meant we saw the most amazng waterfalls from the melting snow. The mountains still had plenty of snow and it provided a unique scenery. We do drive past Lake Como and do not stop there. We chose this option because with 3 kids(the youngest 3), we felt it was better to take this option. The issues on the day we had was with the bus which struggled up the mountain(we had to stop several times with a heated engine). It delayed our arrival to St Moritz which meant we only had 45 mins to explore the town. No time to eat or really go into town. It is a beautiful place and we enjoyed walking along the lake that is fully covered in snow in the Winter. The guide was ok. Friendly and had interesting information. Overall this is a 5 star experience that your photos will never truly capture what you feel on the day, you will remember this day forever.

  Loved the train ride and the views but our tour guide had such broken english that we could not understand him therefore did not get much information of the areas we visited. He should not be on a English speaking tour.

  Super worth it! Just go! The tour is sensational, stunning views from Tirano IT, contemplating the view with beautiful lakes, between the beautiful Swiss Alps to St. Moritz. Super recommend!! I loved it!! The tour is long, we depart at 7:30 from Milan, by bus to Tirano IT and from there, we follow the train Bernina to St. Moritz in Switzerland, and we arrive in Milan at 7:00. Bring snacks or whatever you please, if you don't want to spend a hundred (100 reais) on a cup of coffee and a salad in St. Moritz. I spent, after all... Just a tip, because everyone brings snacks and drinks! :) Nice walk!

  The scenery that you will see is amazing and I think worth the long day travelling. The only negative was that the other couple that we were travelling with had to sit separately which ruined the experience for them. I think ticketed seats would make it easier for those travelling together.
