We are children from many different lands in Vietnam but mainly from Hanoi and Ha Long. Hits all the first timer spots, the cave, boat rides and the hiking. Tight schedules and mandatory bathroom breaks which is good but usually to try and sell you something. No buggie, enjoyed te time.

Beautiful scenery and beautiful boat. You get to go into a cave on one of the islands, hang out on a beach and do a brief hike. The staff was great but it is very salesy which gets a bit annoying after a while. Alcohol is not included and they do charge you for water as well as you are not allowed to have plastic in ha long bay. They will also try to sell you everything from pearls to extra food. Overall, still recommend the experience as the scenery is absolutely stunning and the excursion are a lot of fun.

This was a good tour……enjoyed it, the food, and the way it was organized. But I was very disappointed when we were the last to be picked up from our hotel and my husband and I had to sit separately…. He was in the last row of the bus and I had to sit in the front half of the bus. I paid for 2 seats “together” yet we were split up. Viator needs to ensure couples who book together… sit together. The people booking 3 seats should have to split up. This started my entire tour on a bad note. Why would I book with my husband only to sit alone. I have been taking tours thru viator for many years and they need to assign seats or be sure that the last couple picked up has seats together. I may hesitate to book again for fear this will happen on another tour.

Avoid this tour company. Despite marketing “best seller,” “5 stars,” “luxury,” this cruise is anything but. We chose this boat largely because of the hot tub and sauna amenities-the company charges extra fees to use the sauna (it was never turned on for us), and the staff refuses to heat the hot tub to save on costs (nobody on our boat used the hot tub as it was kept cold by the staff). Nothing is included-coffee is a surcharge, the first stop boat tour is a surcharge, literally anything except for water is a surcharge. Boat is overpacked with people. AVOID.

Great day trip. Me (name of our guide) was very nice and she made sure everyone felt involved. She played with our baby and checked in on us throughout the day. Johny was the boat guide and also very friendly and knowledgeable. All parties did a great job. Stay vigilant with the pick up and drop off instructions the morning off the trip as they may be altered (not an issue, just make sure you have text or call options as they may try to contact you). The bar on the boat that does accept credit card. Highly recommend!
