Day 01: Arrive Paro. Paro - Thimphu (54 km, 1 hr drive) Arrive Paro by Drukair (Royal Bhutan Airlines) or Bhutan Airlines (Private Airlines). You will be received at the Paro International Airport by the representative of World Tour Plan, who will be your guide throughout your tour. You directly travel to Thimphu, the capital town of Bhutan. The road runs down through the Paro valley, to Chuzom (Confluence) at the entrance to the valley, where the Paro and Thimphu rivers meet. The road passes along a narrow valley with high, rocky cliffs on the left, and then the valley opens out into farmland on the approach to Thimphu. On arrival at Thimphu, check into your hotel and after a refreshment or lunch, visit the following places: • Centenary Farmers’ Market (open from Thu-Sun only): Most of the Thimphu’s population and many valley dwellers converge on the bustling weekend market, held by the side of Wangchu River. A wide range of foodstuffs and local arts and crafts are sold at the market, which runs from Thursday afternoon till Sunday evening. A visit to the market provides great photo opportunities, as well as the chance to mingle with local people. • Archery Match (National Game of Bhutan) at Changlimithang National Stadium. • Kuenselphodrang (commonly known as Buddha Point) where the largest Buddha statue in the country is perched on the hillock overlooking the Thimphu Valley. You may take a nature hike through Kuenselphodran Nature Park for about 20-30 minutes. • Tashichhoe Dzong, a fortress of the glorious religion. It was built in 1641 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and was reconstructed into present structure by the late King, His majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck in the year 1962-1969. It houses the secretariat building, the throne room and the office of the king, and the central monk body. • The National Memorial Chorten (stupa) which was constructed in 1974 as a memorial for the third King of Bhutan, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, who is widely regarded as the father of modern Bhutan. The term ‘chorten’ literally means ' seat of faith' and Buddhists often call such monuments the 'Mind of Buddha'. Meet the elderly generation in circumambulation, especially in the evenings, at the National Memorial Chorten. • Craft Bazaar – A one stop place to witness Bhutanese culture and to buy Bhutan made art and craft product. The Bazaar in its 80 stalls covers all aspects of the traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan. You will get to see craftsmen and artisans from across the country displaying and selling their handicrafts. You can also visit other handicraft stores in town.Dinner and overnight in Thimphu.

The central statue is Chenresig in an 11-headed, thousand-armed manifestation (God of compassion). There are enormous prayer wheels to spin and even the prayer books in the temple are larger in size than usual Tibetan texts. • Dechenphodrang (Palace of great bliss) Monastery located at north of Thimphu valley. I always had a dream to visit world's only carbon Negative country. Finally, this February I got a chance to visit with my family. We had a seamless journey from Kolkotta to Paro, everything was well taken care by World Tour Plan,Mr. Karma. The guide and the driver was professional. We had the most flexible tour with lots of addon services were most of the services were free. Hotel were neat and food was amazing. We got to taste many indian foods, bhutanese food and we also participated in cooking class. The walk to Bumdra and taktshang was above and beyond. This tour is highly recommended to 20- 65 age group travellers . If you are a hiker, cultural lover, foodie, then this tour is for you. You can go for this Tour without having second thoughts . This tour is a perfect blend of all the above. So go for it. Highly recommended. Thank you World Tour Plan team for making our stay wonderful. We will visit again.

After waiting for more than three years, I finally did it. I visited Bhutan again. This time I stayed for longer days. This trip was customized one of 15 days .I stayed mostly in farm house and I did lots of hiking . My favorite hike among all is taktshang hike and phobjikha hike. What more you need when you are provided with good car and an experience guide. Enough to make best of memories. I was lucky this time about food. I was serve alacarte. Thanks to the owner for looking into it. My menu wasn't repetitive unlike previous visit.I will visit again next year with my family. Until then see you. Thank you for your great hospitality. Namaste 🙏

What a great stay it was! Me and my family we reached back from the trip and i cant imagine how beautiful the stay was. We were warmly welcomed by the guide at the airport. The guide and the driver was very humble. since the beginning of the trip it went as planned in the itinerary. The drive from the airport to the capital was very soothing to eyes, we visited Paro, Thimphu, phunakha, phobjika valley too and the experience was breath taking. The people and the places are so rooted to their culture and tradition. The places were very neat and clean, the food was something we looked forward to and it lived up to the expectation. since the tour was for 13 days and Luckily Thimphu Tshechu was being held when we were in capital SO we wanted to extent our stay for 3 more days to attend the festival and the tour operator did all the necessary arrangements in the nick of time. the festival was colorful and meaningful. sadly the stay had to end but the memories me and my family made there will always be cherished i am so very satisfied with the services rendered by World tour plan and would definitely recommend them if you are planning to visit Bhutan. Its a great place for travel gateway with family and friends. Thank you world tour plan for making this trip a success.

I had a very pleasant 13 days tour in Bhutan with WORLD TOUR PLAN. It was very organized and had a thorough itinerary with professional management. The guide was insightful ( fooding, lodging , good communication skills, etc) and a great companion. I had, luscious Bhutanese food at various restaurant. I was in tuned with the nature and the cultural sights that Bhutan had to offer....The night life was very lively and peaceful. I had a great experience and it was a blissful getaway from my busy schedule; thanks to this company. Therefore, i would like to recommend my fellow travelers, aspiring to visit Bhutan to grab the package offered by WTP without a second thought!! Anyhow, I am looking forward for my second visit.

We are just back from 12 days tour. We had an amazing experience in Bhutan. Everything was well organized. Guide and driver were professional. Suggestions: If you are visiting Bhutan , make sure you ask your guide to take you to different restaurant. Some time you can try Bhutanese food, some times Indian food and Nepali food.it is advisable to try different cuisine as we get other food as good as Bhutanese food in Bhutan. Thank you World Tour Plan, we would love to visit again.

To visit Bhutan was a long awaited wish come true. It was indeed the best holiday therapy form my busy lifestyle. The best thing i did on tour was witnessing the people of Bhutan and experiencing "Gross National Happiness "for real , in the world where GDP is overruling their country Bhutan was unlike them. The simplicity of people i came across and the way they are grounded to their cultural roots were fascinating. During my stay i got to connect with nature and it was mesmerizing to see one of the endangered bird species " Black necked Crane" in Phobjikha .isn't it wonderful? to talk about the food there chilies are dominant and the local dish i was offered was "ema datshi" and there were some other dried meat dishes too and i would say my tongue was delighted . It was a great experience to mender along the valleys of Paro, Thimphu and Punakhka. Everything(hotels food places i wanted to see) was on mark. Thank you World Tour Plan for making my best tour in Bhutan.Would surely visit second time. Highly recommendable!
