Itinerary: we start with the UNESCO site of Count Andrássy’s prestigious Avenue that holds numerous gems along its way and ends in the embrace of the monumental Heroes Square and the magical City Park. We'll see Budapest's fairytale castle, the Vajdahunyad Castle and the biggest bath, too. Later around the Opera House we’ll expose the infamous stories of Hungarian musical giants like Franz Liszt, Béla Bartók, and Zoltán Kodály. Then we take you to one of the most visited attractions of Budapest, the St. Stephen’s Basilica, where we have the chance to discuss about Christianity and the earlier beliefs of Hungarians. We’ll also guide you through the most turbulent periods of Hungarian history from revolutions to peace, and from peace to terror what the 20th century brought to us. On the Liberty Square the devil is in the detail. Nevertheless the most remarkable creation of Pest is the Parliament Building, which we’ll be delighted to show you and tell the story of.

5.00Four of us did the Budapest Pest side tour: Days of Glory on 9/17/2022 with Zsuzsa. Zsuzsa was very knowledgeable, of Budapest and the tour definitely covered what we had hoped to see on the Pest side of Budapest. Walking with Zsuzsa was like seeing the city with a good friend. We have done a number of introduction tours to a city ion past travels and this was one of the best. We highly recommend this tour for getting to know Budapest. Mike

5.00I had a great pleasure to participate in a walking tour led by István. It was amazing feeling to be guided by a person, who combines passion and his work. Interesting stories, history and sense of humour made those few hours a memory which I would like to keep in my mind for a long time. 5.00After 3 years living in Budapest this was my first professional city tour. There are no words to describe how much I enjoyed it and how much I learned in just a few hours. There is nothing more pleasant than finding people in love with the history of their own country. István is a incredible guide, he took care of every single detail.

5.00My mother and I were fortunate enough to have Kate & Zsuzsa as our tour guides for our 2.5 day private tour in Budapest. They both encompassed a very kind and caring spirit and were very accommodating to our tour destinations and interests. My mother is quite elderly and they were willing to take the tour in a slower pace and were very flexible with our schedule and modes of transport. I would strongly recommend their services for your next trip to Budapest. You will definitely have a great time like we did!
