Sit back and enjoy the sea air on-board the largest sailing catamaran in The Whitsundays. With capped capacity numbers, you can stretch out and relax as Camira sails through the Whitsunday Islands and takes you to the region’s most iconic locations. Hike to the Hill Inlet Lookout, leave footprints in the white silica sand, snorkel the fringing reef and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch with all-inclusive drinks

If you have a dietary requirement, please make yourself known to our crew and they will advise what should be avoided.
Please also note for any guests wanting to snorkel the fringing reef from Camira, you must have adequate swimming abilities as there are no flotation devices available.

Hill Inlet
On a guided hike to Hill Inlet lookout, follow a path walked by the Whitsundays’ traditional owners, the Ngaro people. Back on the beach, swim and stroll along the shore before a BBQ lunch cooked and served on board. After lunch, you will head to one of the Whitsundays fringing reefs for some snorkelling before sailing back to shore.

On Whitsunday Island’s east coast, Camira moors at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach, a 7km arc of dazzling white sand, regularly voted Australia’s best beach.

5.00Get ready for a great day! All you need is a water bottle, a swim suit, maybe a towel and definitely sun screen and a hat. They do the rest. Great food all day long. An excellent pace to the day. Super nice crew. Very organized from beginning to end!

4.00You need to be relatively fit to walk up the stairs to the lookout & down to white haven beach in the humid weather. Both are well worth it, and the highlight of our trip. The snorkeling is average but always nice to get in the water & see the coral. The staff on the camera were great. The food was ok but was generous servings. Sitting at the front of the boat, sailing through the Whitsundays is certainly a wonderful way to spend the day.

5.00This is an amazing day trip, great value for money. The crew are great and look after everything and take safety very seriously but with good humour. There is constant food and drinks throughout the day which is of a good standard. It’s very organised with plenty of time for the activities. The snorkelling was the highlight for us. We would recommend this trip as a must do when visiting Airlie Beach for a few days, thanks Cameira

5.00Excellent day trip. A good balance of chilled sailing time, activities and sight seeing. The crew are great, they’re fun, knowledgeable and ensure everyone’s safety. Plenty food and drink, you won’t go hungry or thirsty.

5.00We took a day trip on the Camira to Whitehaven Beach and snorkelling, the whole experience was a joy from start to finish, the vessel, the team and the hospitality was perfect, really relaxing day. Taking the tender boat in to shore was perfect, all highly recommended

1.00The weather was very poor before leaving the marina. The operator knew this and did not allow for a reschedule. They pushed on. 10 people sea sick and vomiting into clear plastic bags. They cancelled the snorkeling. The beach and inlet had no enjoyment because of constant rain. Most tours would not have left the dock, refunded the money and or rescheduled. So we paid a fee that was for snack food, alcohol in a down poor. The staff knew they were not providing anything close to a service worthy of the fee. No partial refund or compensation. I would rate them unprofessional and greedy. Do Not Book With Them if Rain is present or on the horizon.

5.00To the Camira Team, I wanted to send a massive thank you to the crew of my recent cruise to Whitehaven. This was my first time ever snorkeling, and I was a bit overwhelmed when my goggles broke. I am so grateful to Brodi for being so attentive; she went and got me a new pair and transformed my nerves into a beautiful memory. Skipper Chris Jiggins and the rest of the team felt like friends I’d known for years. Skipper was a proper gentleman. Your support and warmth turned a great trip into a spectacular one. You all have a special way of making every guest feel seen and supported. Thank you for the "7-star" treatment—I’ll never forget it!

2.00We had a confirmed booking WITH pick up at the hotel, waiting for more than one hour nobody showed up, calling was not possible , when we finally reached one, they were not very helpful and told us to late, the boat would leave in some minutes. Totally disapponting experience, even in getting the refund!,
