Tours operate daily, with itineraries based on tidal conditions. If your preferred tour is unavailable, check the alternate option— both tours include Mautohe Cathedral Cove, one of the world’s Top 50 Beaches!

Guests must wear reliable, closed-in footwear suitable for walking on various terrains.
For safety reasons, the track may be unsuitable after or during heavy rain. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made
Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
Children aged 7 years and below are required to travel in a child safety car seat. You can provide your own or one can be provided for $20 NZD (with 24 hours notice).
Not recommended for travelers with severe mobility difficulties, a large amount of walking over uneven surfaces is involved.
Guests must have a high level of fitness and be capable of completing the challenging 40-minute walk to and from Cathedral Cove.

4.00Enjoyed the day. Was unfortunate that we missed the low tide for the hot water beach. Low tide was 8:30am and we would have had a window of one hour on each side to be able to dig in the warm sand for the hot water. Unfortunately we arrived at 10:30am and tide was already coming in at that point so missed out on that activity. Beautiful scenery along the way

4.00There is a lot of walking with significant hills, and stairways without rails. The description of the tour should include more on that it is fairly strenuous. We enjoyed the trip and would do it again.

5.00We had a great experience with this tour. This is a must do if you are in Auckland area. Matt was very good and coordinated it very well. He kept us engaged and treated like a family.
