  My family and I have been on many tours and Laila was the best tour guide we have ever had!! She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and thoughtful! My 10 year old son told me several times that he did not want the tour to end. She took the time to clearly explain all of the historical details and we left with such a love and respect for the Mexican culture and people. When we come back to Mexico, she is the only tour guide we will use!!

  I had a private tour with Laila. It was simply amazing. We had no fixed Plan and just went with the flow, which was absolutly perfect. Laila is not only a amazing guide but also such a nice person with a lot of knowledge and passion for what shes doing. It quickly becomes clear that she does the tours with a lot of heart and love for her country. Couldnt be any better. Would absolutly recommend!

  a memorable day trip! I did not realize it was a private tour and I was a bit worried on spending the full day alone with a guide but from the moment Laila picked me up at my hotel to the moment I returned, I felt like I was spending the day with a friend who was sharing her experience of Mexican life with me. Very professional, I learned a lot from Laila about history, daily life, society and so on. Flexible, she advised me on what was worth visiting and adapted the tour to suit my preference. It was a very enriching day of exchange. Thank you so much!!!

  The Best Tour Guide in Mexico City Laila with PiesDescalzos! I went on several amazing tours while visiting Mexico City about five in total but Laila stood out as absolutely exceptional. She’s hands down the best guide I had on my entire trip. From the moment the tour started, her kindness, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the city were immediately clear. She knew exactly where to go for the most breathtaking views and photo opportunities, and as a designer with an eye for art and aesthetics, she helped capture some of the most stunning pictures I’ve ever had taken on a trip. I didn’t want the experience to end. Her energy is warm, beautiful, and genuinely unforgettable. Laila is not just a tour guide she’s an experience in herself. I’ve already told all my friends and family who are planning trips to CDMX that they must book with her and PiesDescalzos. If you’re looking for the BEST tour in Mexico City this is it. 10 out of 10.   We had a wonderful experience with Laila! From start to finish, she was incredibly friendly, flexible, and accommodating, making our day feel relaxed and personalized. We explored Chapultepec Castle and the surrounding forest, discovered hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own, and even stopped to enjoy some delicious local ice cream. Along the way, we learned so much about Mexican history and culture - Laila is full of fascinating insights. She also gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations that literally added flavor to our visit. The whole experience felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a knowledgeable family friend. She even took us on the cable car! Truly a unique and memorable way to see the city. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip! Laila’s tour is a must if you want to experience Mexico City in an authentic and meaningful way.

  What an extraordinary experience! The places we visited very beautiful, especially allowed me to connect with nature in a simple, relaxed, fun way and also learned a lot. I congratulate Laila Navarro (the guide) for the knowledge, love and taste for what she shares in these types of experiences. There was no place I felt: something to discover, to know, to enjoy! He took us to key places in the forest, he narrated us in a very simple way, while still being deeply significant. He conveyed to me with much love and joy details of the names of the places, origins, sense of what is in each space. I was really surprised that each tour is like a beautiful, admirable and inspiring moment. Besides sharing it with a friend who likes this type of experience, it made it even more fun. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Laila Navarro, for your study, love, joy and authentic taste for what you made us connect on this tour. If throughout my life I have loved this great country as my Mexico, beautiful darling, this great Forest of Chapultepec, now I look at it with more love, joy and infinite gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I appreciate each of the recommendations to do this type of tour, such as wearing comfortable shoes, our natural water container, etc. Go light and willing to live a pleasant and extraordinary experience! I highly recommend this type of experience, I felt, mega guest for the next adventure! What a healthy and enriched experience! What I liked most, getting out of the urban routine, walking around delighting in the sounds of birdsong, feeling almost embraced by trees, seeing lakes, and so many details that have prevailed for so many years. The Tláloc of the Museum of Anthropology, enjoy the audiogram, the Quinta Colorada, the house of the lake, we came running, because they were going to close, the Carcamo de Dolores, where it is located, the mural of "Water, Origin of life" incredible! We are late because we delight in the corn museum, where there is a store of very beautiful artisan products. And as if that weren’t enough, we ended our tour in a restaurant called Bistro, where when we had our cappuccino and a delicious chocolate cake, we continued to delight with such a beautiful view of one of the lakes. Do not miss this experience, full of so many very enjoyable details! Thank you Laila Navarro, in your company and guide, Chapultepec Forest will remain one of my favorite places in Mexico City. Thank you infinitely.
