Vessels depart from Wendella's docks at the northwest corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge (DuSable Bridge), at the foot of the Wrigley Building.
Centennial Fountain And Water Arc
Dedicated in 1989 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, known for reversing the flow of the Chicago River in 1900. For the first five minutes of every hour, the fountain shoots a water arc across the river from a tiered waterfall.

1.00It would be great on a day warm enough to sit on upper deck. If you require warmth, you will see nothing from the inside seating. Definitely a warm weather experience.

5.00The tour was far more informative than expected. Our guide (Spyro sp?) was funny and very well spoken. It's definitely worth taking a tour. It was 29 degrees on the deck outside, but the cabin is climate controlled so you can warm up and get a drink as needed. 10/10

5.00We enjoyed this tour on a cold wintery day. We sat inside but others braved the cold and sat outside. Great commentary and we finished the tour knowing a lot about the history and architecture of Chicago.

5.00It’s a great experience if you’re into local history. The 90 minutes cover a lot but if you’d rather a quick trip down the river, I’d recommend the 45 minute option. Lucas was very knowledgeable and very approachable. Great guide from start to finish.
