With a City Sightseeing 1-day bus ticket, you can hop-on and hop-off at any of the 4 tour stops strategically placed around Geiranger! Enjoy panoramic views of this picturesque town from our iconic double-decker buses, as well our recorded audio commentary accessible in several languages! The tour will take you to the town’s best sights, including the Norwegian Fjord Centre an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the amazing Flydalsjuvet Viewpoint!

Be aware that this tour only operates when there is a cruise ship in port, on dates between 1st June - 27th September. Please refer to the calendar to check availability.

Duration: 50 Minutes

Frequency: 30 Minutes

Operating Times: 9AM - 4PM

Mobile and paper vouchers are accepted for this tour.

Mobile vouchers must be redeemed at Bus Stop 1 (Cruise Ship Terminal). Paper vouchers can be redeemed at any of the stops along the route.

With your voucher, enjoy flexible access for up to 12 months from the travel date you select at check-out.

Please note, all customers whether they arrive with a ticket or buy one on-site, will receive a specific departure time. This will be assigned when the voucher is exchanged for a ticket. This is to ensure all customers are seated and some seats are still available for those coming back from the tour

Important: When you arrive in Geiranger, please make sure to check-in and exchange your ticket at the main ticket office. Time slots will be given to you if the day has a busy schedule of departures. Note that most bus departures are on cruise days and times that suit incoming cruise ships. Please make sure to find out what time the last departure is, which can be found at the ticket office and on the bus.

If customers hop-off the bus they will have to take the next one in 30 minutes, except at Stop 4 where the bus makes a u-turn, and the same bus passes by in about 10 minutes on the way back down

This is so far the best view I have seen and experiencing the Norway Fjord. I enjoyed seeing up close and personal the beauty of Geiranger.

I put in for the town our ship was coming into. This the tour that came up. It was 1 hour 30 minutes away

The view point was ok but with six plus buses up there it was busy and stressful . In the end we got off at the fiord centre and walked back to the ship. Not impressed for the money

Great port and enjoyed seeing the area. Roads are really winding, but the bus driver was excellent. Beautiful town! A must see!
