Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time.
If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
Please provide an active phone number during the booking process in order to be contacted about last minute changing.
Pets are not allowed inside the venue
Every participant MUST bring an id or a photo of it. It is mandatory requested by the monument in order to enter the Colosseum Underground.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The tour might begin either the Roman Forum or the Colosseum, depending on the order.
Due to the Jubilee, some monuments may be under restoration. Please pay attention to any messages we may send regarding potential changes.

You will meet your guide at Via del Colosseo, 31. Our check-in staff will be waiting for you next to a blue flag and next to Caffe Roma, under the plate 31 of the street.

Just west of the Colosseum is the Roman Forum, which for many centuries was the place where the future of the ancient western civilization was decided. We will also provide you with access to the Roman Forum and you will still be under the careful attention of our expert guide. Although today the Roman Forum stands in ruins, for many reigns it was at the very center of Rome’s activities. It started as a marketplace for daily shopping, but as the power of the Empire grew, it became much more important. In this part of the tour, you will explore the remnants of ancient grandiose temples, bustling marketplaces, and imposing civic buildings. We will also show you the place where Rome first began—on Palatine Hill. Rome’s ancient existence has earned it the name “the Eternal City,” and its time as the ruling city of the lands bordering the Mediterranean Sea has earned it the designation “Capital of the World.”

3.00We were a family of four and took the Colosseum Underground & Ancient Rome Guided Tour. The day of the tour was very hot—95°F and even hotter in the sun. Our tour was delayed twice and started late, but the meeting point was easy to find. The tour began with the Ancient Rome section, but the guide was hard to hear. He made efforts to keep us out of the sun. The microphone system made it difficult to fully enjoy this part. Between the two guided sessions, we were left to wait on the ground floor of the Colosseum for about 25 minutes. The second part, the underground tour, was led by a young woman who was amazing. She was easy to understand and gave a great, informative session. She was very attentive and helpful to adults who needed assistance accessing certain areas. The underground space was private and much more enjoyable. Surprisingly, there was no guided time in the upper Colosseum area, and we were left to explore on our own. The Colosseum was incredibly busy, which made navigating the area without guidance challenging. Overall, the tour had its ups and downs, but the underground portion and the knowledgeable female guide were definite highlights.

5.00This is an amazing experience!! It’s expensive but so worth it!! So interesting to go underground & see were the gladiators were kept & the animals too!! We did this 2 years ago which was very good but no underground tour included. Definitely take this tour!! Worth every penny! Then go home & watch Gladiator with Russel Crowe!!

5.00Incredible experience and you get to go to places general ticket holders do not. I learned so much from Giorgio. He went at a nice pace for the needs of people in our group and he gave us so much history it almost made our heads spin. Highly recommend. You get so much more out of this then just walking around exploring on your own!
