Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre
Our first stop for the day is at Mossman Gorge, the base of the Daintree National Park for a guided interpretive walk with your guide, capturing the best time of day for the perfect photo opportunity and the possibility of spotting a Boyd's Forest Dragon or a platypus.
Daintree
Our next stop is the Daintree River via the Mossman Township where sugar cane and the sugar mill features in the landscape. Arriving at the Daintree River we take a Wildlife Cruise. Here you can sit back, soak up the tranquility and natural beauty, listen to the songbirds and seek the elusive Estuarine Crocodile.

5.00This was a really educational tour into the Daintree. Despite not seeing anything but a foot long baby croc and no cassowaries, Cam, our tour guide, kept the drive to each destination educational and the walk through the rainforest very interesting. And don't sleep on the stop at the amazing Daintree Ice Cream Co. which had incredibly unique and fresh flavors. Cam made the most of the trip and was incredibly considerate, he even bought me a beer for my birthday. Highly recommend and hope you get to see bigger crocs.

5.00From the moment I booked the tour through to being dropped back at my hotel, communication was excellent. I was kept well informed via email with pickup times and a clear itinerary. Our tour guide, Ash, was a wealth of knowledge. His presentation was both professional and enthusiastic, and his passion quickly spread to the group. We asked countless questions about the Daintree rainforest-its plants, trees, insects, and animals—and every question was answered confidently, clearly, and with great expertise. Ash's commitment and attention to detail delivered a truly professional, high-quality tour that I would highly recommend.

5.00A wonderful day tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. In our small group we not only experienced the Daintree and Mossman Gorge, but saw crocodiles in their natural habitat on the river cruise and enjoyed great food.

5.00Great day in stunning tropical rainforest and beautiful Daintree river. Adam our guide/driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area which was interesting. Great lunch, great ice-cream stop on the way back. Saw some crocs and other local wildlife and even had a very refreshing swim in a creek! I recommend this tour, it’s pretty thorough and you get to see a lot of this beautiful place

5.00Well organised trip! We had Ash as our guide who was very knowledgable and made us feel safe throughout the day. Highlights were seeing three crocodiles, a snake and two dragon lizards. A great day

5.00This tour was absolutely brilliant from start to finish and a huge part of that was Cam. From the very beginning it was so easy – we were picked up right on time and warmly greeted by Cam, who immediately set the tone for the day with his friendly, relaxed and enthusiastic vibe. Throughout all the journeys, Cam’s commentary was informative, engaging and genuinely interesting. You could tell how knowledgeable he is, and he delivered everything in a really easygoing, entertaining way that made the drives fly by. We were incredibly lucky on the cruise – spotting three crocodiles, a snake, and plenty of (thankfully well-identified!) logs, along with loads of other wildlife. The coffee and muffin stop was an awesome mid-morning break and very welcome, and the forest walks were another highlight. These were amazingly led by Cam – he clearly knows the area inside out and brought the rainforest to life with stories, facts and wildlife spotting along the way. We saw all sorts of wildlife throughout the day, which really made it feel special. Ending the tour with ice cream was the perfect way to wrap up an already fantastic day. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and Cam truly made the tour. His passion, knowledge, organisation and friendliness turned a great itinerary into an unforgettable day. Couldn’t recommend this tour – or Cam as a guide – highly enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

4.00The trip was excellent and very informative, our guide Adam gave a good insight into the Tropical Rainforest and provided interesting anecdotes along the way. Unfortunately the trip was curtailed due to the incoming cyclone, however this was handled sensitively and safely by Adam. Overall a well worthwhile trip. PS we saw a baby croc.

5.00An excellent tour, and Cam was a fantastic guide. Has everything you need to cover a day tour, walks, boat trips, scenic driving, and seeing plenty (crocs, snakes, spiders - all from a distance!) of wildlife. Small group which rices enough time to ask questions. Would not hesitate to recommend the trip, and hopefully you also land with Cam as your guide!
