Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre
Our first stop for the day is at Mossman Gorge, the base of the Daintree National Park for a guided interpretive walk with your guide, capturing the best time of day for the perfect photo opportunity and the possibility of spotting a Boyd's Forest Dragon or a platypus.
Daintree
Our next stop is the Daintree River via the Mossman Township where sugar cane and the sugar mill features in the landscape. Arriving at the Daintree River we take a Wildlife Cruise. Here you can sit back, soak up the tranquility and natural beauty, listen to the songbirds and seek the elusive Estuarine Crocodile.

5.00Great day with Adam As our guide. Very knowledgeable and personable with lots of stories! Pick up right from our lodging in port Douglas was seamless. Longest walk is 30 min so any comfortable shoes will do. Lunch was good. Got back around 430 Loved the small group

5.00We have done several trips to the Daintree over the years & this was the best. We covered a lot of ground, as you do with a small group and at no time did we feel rushed. Our tour guide & driver,Adam, was very friendly and respectful. He was extremely knowledgeable & passionate about the region which added to a thoroughly enjoyable day.

4.00This was a really fun day in the rainforest. We loved seeing all the different birds, a baby crocodile, lizards, and spiders. The boat ride was fun and the restaurant served delicious food. We stopped and got the best ice cream made fresh daily. Randall, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and so kind. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there were times when Randall was talking and I really wanted to listen to the sounds of the rainforest. Also, in the van you really couldn’t have a conversation with the people who you were with do to the constant talking over the speakers. I still would recommend this tour.

5.00Superb experience with very knowledgeable guides, did the full experience in one 9 hour day - two walks in the rain forest, boat trip on the river, up to Cape Tribulation, learning all the time. Good sound in the minibus. A well planned, informative and enjoyable day

3.00Rob our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. There was confusion about pick up location but that was not a big deal. We were the last onboard so we were seated in the far back of the van. It was an extremely cramped area especially for the 4+ hours we spent driving. Lunch was delicious and the walks in the rainforest were great!

5.00What a fabulous tour. We were so lucky to have Adam as our driver and only 5 passengers on our mini bus We had a fabulous day and Adam shared his in depth knowledge freely so we all came away much more aware and educated. We loved each of the schedule stops especially the Rainforest and Mossman gorge as well as the beautiful secluded beaches. Fabulous lunch then three of us enjoyed a dip in Coopers creek. A day we will remember forever. Thank you Adam and the other lovely passengers Greg, Maggie and Camille.

5.00My partner Nico and I went on this tour in October. This small group tour was amazing. Our tour guide Chris was so knowledgeable from local history and information to rainforest plant and animal facts. The highlights for me were the rainforest walk and the swim in the water hole. I would definitely recommend!
