  Ross led an excellent tour. 12 people, including driver in a 14 passenger van made for tight but okay riding. Took us to each place on the itinerary. Talked a lot along the way about stuff we were seeing. Brought along excellent cheese and crackers for when we were tasting the wine, since winery only provided wine, that made that experience even better.

  We had the best time from the moment we were picked up. Sandi was awesome friendly great fun. Napier love it. The winery was beautiful nice selection of tasters

  One of the best tours we've ever done! Our driver/guide was Sandy, such a lovely & funny lady... To start the tour, she drove us around in Napier and showed some of the beautiful buildings and landmarks. After that, we went to the house of Ross (the owner of the company) and visited his garden which is so nice and has a great view. Up next, Sandy drove us up to the peak of Te Mata. As it was a lovely clear day, we had the most amazing views. To finish, we drove to Akerne wineries for a nice wine tasting with some cheese and crackers. I highly recommend this tour and company!

  We met our tour as scheduled by the pink flags. We had a small tour group and our driver was friendly and knowledgeable. We saw wonderful views of the town and up at the peak. The winery stop was great! We tasted lots of wines and enjoyed the cheeses and crackers with our lovely taste. Our tour was on the anniversary of the 1931 quake and our driver explained the history of rebuilding the town, and he was careful to get us back to enjoy the festivities in town before we had to return to the ship.

  This was a great tour. We drove around through the downtown area and our guide told us all about the earthquake in 1931 and the rebuilding in all art deco theme. The guide, apologies but I think Ross was his name, took us by his home to look at his gardens and the view over the harbor, he has quite a green thumb! Even with the low hanging clouds the view from Te Mata Peak was breathtaking. The Askerne Winery had some great wines paired with some local cheeses and fruits. The vines were just loaded with grapes almost ready to be picked. It was a great way to spend 3 hours and see some of the historic art deco buildings, take in a fabulous view, learn a little history of the area and have some great wine. I would definitely recommend it.

  Ross was friendly and knowledgeable. We had an absolute blast. Mountain was spectacular and the wine and cheese stop a delightful little treat.

  Ross is a fantastic guide. Shared lots of interesting information about Napier and the surrounding area, wines, local flora and fauna. He made our day great.
