Along the trail that will take us up to 2000mt a.s.l., our guide will tell you about how the highest volcano in Europe was born, without leaving the aspects related to flora and fauna that characterize it. After admiring old and new lava flows we will proceed on foot to the inner part of old craters. The charming panorama and the picturesque scenery will give us the feeling of being on the moon. After a short break, the hike will continue with a visit, carrying helmet and torch, inside a lava cave to admire a unique spectacle. Walking through a luxuriant vegetation, we will finally admire the spectacular Valle del Bove.

5.00We all loved the day and felt lucky to have Duphnia(?) as our guide. She was very relaxed and accommodating and had a head full of knowledge about volcanoes and the region. The lava cave was great and the volcano hike spectacular and perfectly matched to our range of fitness levels. Well done.

4.00The tour guide was very kind and the pick up spot was very easy to find. I loved everything about this tour except we didn’t hike the volcano as high as I thought we would, I assumed for this price we would do more hiking and was a little let down when we only were actually on the volcano for about 30 minutes. Perfect if you don’t want to exert yourself too much I was just ready for a challenging hike.
