  So, I never got to go on this tour. Was scheduled for a Monday, but they cancelled the night before due to the projected weather - which is totally fair. Upon calling and talking to them, they were able to book us in for 2 days later, the Wednesday. The check in was supposed to be at 7am, but at 6am, we got emails and phone calls that the tour was cancelled due to a problem with the boat, that had started last evening and the workers hadn't been able to fix despite trying all night. To be fair, they did offer us a different tour for that day, but the rest of the handling of the issue left something to be desired. If they knew about the problem the night before, they could have cancelled then or at least warned us in case we wanted to look into something else. Or, given how often they run these tours, I am surprised they don't either have a second boat, a sister company to recommend, or somewhere they can rent a boat from- of course there are going to be maintenance issues that come up. Instead we were left scrambling to try to find a backup tour the morning of our last day. Overall, while I can't complain about maintenance issues or weather, but disappointed in their problem solving.

  This was an amazing experience. The boat ride across the crystal clear aqua blue water blows my mind. Captain and crew were amazing. Lots of info as we went. Celebrities private islands, history of the islands, information about the cays and animals. THE ANIMALS! We literally held sharks, pigs, birds landed on us. It was next level. An authentic Bahamian lunch to top it all off. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Only suggestion I have is; bring a wind/rain coat. The board is fast and you will get wet! Swimming and on the boat ride. • Chance of a lifetime

  The tour met my expectations in terms of the activities listed. Be prepared for one heck of a ride there and back. There will be a lot of wind smacking you in the face so a wind jacket or some sort of face covering will make the ride more enjoyable. The stops felt a little rushed but it is to be expected doing day trip 90 miles away. The crew is friendly and accommodating. I was a little nervous about the animals being aggressive but it was manageable and you can participate or not based on your comfort level. The stop at the sand bar is amazing and a once in a lifetime experience. I would not recommend this tour for anyone with mobility issues as you need to be able to get in and out of the boat in different situations whether it is docked or just parked in the water. But lots of children on the boat and had no issues. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to explore the cays.

• This trip has it all! Sharks, pigs, lizards, planes, islands, and great food. Once in a lifetime adventure!

  We were lucky enough to book a full day tour with Captain Diego, Zay, and Marty. Pigs, lizards, beach, snorkeling, SHARKS, and a magical island that disappears as the day goes on. What a fantastic day! You will spend a fair amount of time in the boat going from island to island, but it is so worth it. Even the lunch was great. The three tour guides were incredibly nice and helpful. I would book a tour with them again in a heartbeat.

  The journey on the speedboat was an adventure journey and spectacular. The crew was very hard at work and the excursion destinations were very worth seeing! Only on the Exumas you can see the real and wild swimming pigs, on every other tour they are locked up and let out of the cages only for the tourists. This tour is definitely not to be missed!

  Trip was cancelled with no notification. I got a refund, but got up, prepared, and present early while on vacation only to have the trip cancelled.

• My best day in the Bahamas

  I loved this experience! It was my best day in the Bahamas. Shelley was an enthusiastic receptionist who made you feel like you won the grand prize in a game show! And Diego, Mattie, and Zay were the perfect crew. The day was sunny, and the waters were every color of turquoise you could imagine. Of the five experiences, I loved the nurse sharks the best. With the crews’ encouragement, I got pretty good at catching and cuddling the small and medium size sharks. The texture of their skin was amazing! But my favorite part of the trip was when Diego would bank the boat going tight around the cays. There was pure joy in those movements. I hope I get to return to the Bahamas and book another experience with this group. They are the best! One small request though - the music would be just as much fun if played at a lower volume.

  I’ll start off by saying our crew of Diego, Alex, and Zay made our experience fantastic. Due to high winds they had to adjust the travel plans. We ended up having the best 5 hours of our trip. Pigs/turtles/snorkling/lunch/private beach was our trip today and we will do it again if we have the chance to come back. Thanks again to the crew for making this a blast.

  

  

  

  

  

• Best Adventure Yet-100% Worth It!!

  We went on the “Pink Sands” tour yesterday from 7:30am-4pm with Captain Ron & First Mate Bryant (Brizz). It’s was nothing short of an amazing experience. Had a small group of 11 people. Plenty of room & still very comfortable. They were super informative during the ride. We did not travel with kids, but they were extremely attentive to the kids on the tour with us making sure they were having a great time. Plenty of drinks & snacks to entertain everyone. They took us to the sand bar with swings, swam with the sea turtles, fed the piggy’s in the water & a golf cart ride through the town to Pink Sands Beach which was beautiful. Perfect for us since we are on our honeymoon. Lounge chairs & umbrellas included. The lunch was great at the restaurant & included in the price. This was by far the best day of our trip. If you are thinking it’s a bit too pricey, think again! It was 100% worth it!! All you need to bring is a light jacket and a beach towel. Seriously, nothing else needed. They had it all. • Exuma Tips

  The two islands of Exhuma are small, though a car rental is a must, as bus run infrequently and it’s dangerous to bike on narrow, potholed roads. Rent a car at the airport: a small car with good gas mileage can be had at Thompson’s car rentals for c. $65 a day. Keep to the left side of the road in this former British colony! Of course, having a boat to get around the islands and to the cays (keys) is the best option. Food is very, very expensive, as the Exhumas have to import everything. It’s smart to hunt out the few groceries, buy staples, and do much of your cooking at your lodging. There is a grocery and a liquor store next to each other in the main village, Georgetown, across the street from the boat excursions. The best restaurant may actually be Kermit’s Lounge across from the airport. Huge, tasty portions for $18. We found Airbnb good for inexpensive lodging. We recommend The Three Sisters, and the helpful owner Shavenette. On land, the beaches are the things. We visited all of them that are on the maps, all were gorgeous. Up north Exhuma Point, with its shallow water, and on the ocean side CocoPlum. The Three Sisters beach in the middle. Jolly Beach closer to Georgetown. Tropic of Cancer and Forbes on Little Exhuma. A must excursion is to take a boat for c. $25 to Stocking Island, just off Georgetown. Elvis is one of the boat companies. The Chat and Chill bar and the Coconut Club hotel are the drop-off and return points. The former has sand volleyball, the latter has hiking trails in the jungle hills and water slides for kids. The other excursions, up the cays to Thunderball Grotto and swimming pigs island and such, are mostly very expensive, c. $1,000 and more. There are half-day c. $200 jaunts to various Exhuma beaches. There are also reasonably priced kayak trips through the mangrove inlets.
