  AMAZING experience! Great communication from start to finish - there were storms forecasted for our original date and we received a call the day before to discuss our options. (We booked early in our trip in case that happened, and we are glad we did.) Also excellent communication about what to bring for the day. Day of the trip the crew leading us on the tour were absolutely fantastic. We loved everything from start to finish. 10/10 recommend!

  

  

  

  

  

• More of a necessity than food

  Wow. Where do I even start! This is easily the best excursion I have ever done. Absolutely incredible. Captain Diego, Lex, and Maddy were all excellent hosts and guides and the entire tour felt very prepared and the crew was very hospitable. They were even great with the kids of all ages. They provided drinks, life vests for the kids, snorkels/masks, and even sand toys for the beach. The exumas are absolutely beautiful, and they aren’t lying about seeing every shade of blue in the water during the trip. The tour we did took us to feed the iguanas, snorkel a plane wreck, swim with the pigs, eat a delicious local lunch, swim with nurse sharks, and then ended by stopping by one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve been to in my lifetime. My only complaint was that the day went by too fast! We will absolutely be back. Would recommend this to everyone! Tips for future travelers: - You’re on a speedboat all day going about 45mph most of the time, which feels like 90 with the wind. It took our kids a minute to adjust to the speed. Wouldn’t bring anything that can easily blow away or can’t be secured - The UV is pretty high, and several of us got sunburned pretty good, even with moderate sunscreen. Would be prepared with more sunscreen and coverings; but don’t over pack. - we travelled with kids aged 11, 9, 6, and a newly 4 year old. They all had a blast and participated in every activity except for snorkeling. It was the highlight of the trip for them too. There were some younger kids on the boat with us as well. - soak in every second! Thank you pieces of 8!

  This was so much fun! Each stop was better than the last and the crew (captain Diego and Alex) was so polite and accommodating! My girls loved seeing the animals and since the boat tour got started early we were always the first ones there and each stop was not crowded! We got to hold and let baby pigs too which was a nice treat:) The islands were beautiful and it was worth every penny! Bring rain gear as you will get wet in the boat. So much fun!

  We had the best experience with pieces of 8 tours! The crew that took us was Diego Zay and Lex they were amazing! Making sure everyone was more then good the entire time, offering to take pictures for memories for each family and being so fun and full of light. I couldn't have asked for a better experience we will do this again for sure :)

  We had the most incredible experience with Pieces of 8 on the Exuma tour! From start to finish, the entire day was unforgettable. Alex, Briz, and Diageo were an absolute dream team.…so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had the best time possible. They went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt included, helping everyone get amazing photos, keeping the energy fun and upbeat, and creating such a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. You can truly tell they care about what they do. They didn’t just run an excursion, they created core memories that will last a lifetime. Even when the weather turned a bit tricky on the way back to Nassau, they handled everything professionally and kept everyone comfortable and reassured. Their enthusiasm never dropped, and their positive attitudes made the whole experience even more special. Top team, top service, and an absolute must-do experience. • The Best Experience

  We had captain Ron and guide Bryant and they were the best. You could tell that they genuinely enjoy what they are doing and how passionate they are. They provide the best atmosphere, great music, drinks, and much more. When doing this excursion you truly get to see the beauty of the Bahamas. This was by far the best part of our trip. I look forward to doing it again. Booking this excursion was the best choice!

• Captain D and crew were a Blast!

  Captain D, Xavier and Marty were AMAZING! Unfortunately the weather wasn't great and we were pelted by rain for a lot of the boat ride, but Captain Diego made sure to keep us safe and get us to all of our stops. The iguanas were awesome, our kids had a blast feeding them grapes, pigs were HUGE and happy to have carrots and the water was absolutely stunning. We stopped at Lorraines Cafe for lunch and it was the best food we had our entire trip! Everyone was super friendly and so much fun. Highly recommend this high energy, super enthusiastic, ready to have a great time crew and the Exumas tour!

  

  

  

• Multiple Cancellations

  So, I never got to go on this tour. Was scheduled for a Monday, but they cancelled the night before due to the projected weather - which is totally fair. Upon calling and talking to them, they were able to book us in for 2 days later, the Wednesday. The check in was supposed to be at 7am, but at 6am, we got emails and phone calls that the tour was cancelled due to a problem with the boat, that had started last evening and the workers hadn't been able to fix despite trying all night. To be fair, they did offer us a different tour for that day, but the rest of the handling of the issue left something to be desired. If they knew about the problem the night before, they could have cancelled then or at least warned us in case we wanted to look into something else. Or, given how often they run these tours, I am surprised they don't either have a second boat, a sister company to recommend, or somewhere they can rent a boat from- of course there are going to be maintenance issues that come up. Instead we were left scrambling to try to find a backup tour the morning of our last day. Overall, while I can't complain about maintenance issues or weather, but disappointed in their problem solving.

  This was an amazing experience. The boat ride across the crystal clear aqua blue water blows my mind. Captain and crew were amazing. Lots of info as we went. Celebrities private islands, history of the islands, information about the cays and animals. THE ANIMALS! We literally held sharks, pigs, birds landed on us. It was next level. An authentic Bahamian lunch to top it all off. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Only suggestion I have is; bring a wind/rain coat. The board is fast and you will get wet! Swimming and on the boat ride.
