Tiananmen Square
Depart at your own hotel or meet at the specific area called the Lash Tea house at Qianmen Branch near the Tian'anmen Square and walk to the Tian’anmen Square (after all the security check) with our certificated Tour Guide. You are going to see the ancient Qianmen Gate, the Monument to the People’s heroes and the Great Hall of the people from outside and your tour guide will share with you the history and stories behind all the mentioned architectures.
The Palace Museum
We’ll spend 2 hours wandering around this amazing example of Imperial architecture and learning about the history of the palace. There is another option: Booking entrance ticket with us. Please bring your valid passport to visit and go to the spot on your own. Forbidden City was the imperial palace from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. For around 500 years , it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government The tour route : Forbidden City is divided into two parts. The southern section, or the Outer Court was where the emperor exercised his supreme power over the nation. The northern section, or the Inner Court was where he lived with his royal family. You can take the central route or East Route or West Route depending your own interests or even visiting the Treasure house on the East route. After the tour, taking the public transportation back to your hotel on your own.

5.00For the Palace Museum, book tickets with real-name verification 7 days in advance via its official mini-program. Separate tickets are required for the Treasure Gallery and the Clock Gallery, and the museum is closed on Mondays. Arrive at the Meridian Gate right at its 8:30 opening to avoid crowds, following this route: Meridian Gate → Three Main Halls on the central axis → Palace of Heavenly Purity → Hall of Mental Cultivation → West Six Palaces → Treasure Gallery → Clock Gallery → Imperial Garden → Gate of Divine Prowess, covering both core and less-crowded spots. Hire a licensed guide or use the Palace Museum Exhibitions app for commentary. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a power bank and a small amount of water and snacks. Luggage can be stored at the depositary southwest of the Meridian Gate and collected at the Gate of Divine Prowess. Mobile payment is widely accepted. Do not fall for "express entry" scams and keep your belongings safe.

I had quite a bit of hassle with my booking, but she managed to sort everything out efficiently and even ensured I received a full refund for my mistaken booking. Her communication is excellent, prompt, clear, and fluent in English. I’ve booked many tours over the years, and I can honestly say I cannot recommend her highly enough. 5.00We spent a few hours in Beijing and wanted to take a tour of Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City. Our guide, Veronique, welcomed us very warmly. She was very punctual and friendly. The tour was conducted in French; she answered all our questions, and we loved her dynamism and warmth. It was truly a wonderful experience, and she helped us until the very end by finding us a taxi to return to the airport. We had a great day!

5.00James was a great guide at Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, I highly recommend him. His English is great and he quickly understood what we were interested in, sharing thoughtful, relevant insights along the way. He knows the city and its history well and helped us use the best entrances and picture spots, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Had a really nice time.

5.00Our private tour guide Peter was excellent, he very knowledgeable and provided a fascinating tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Peter showed us a number of particularly interesting locations on the tour with deep insight to the associated History and Culture . It was a very cold day, and Peter adjusted the tour to keep us as much in the warm as possible and glad we had warm clothing as there are lots of open spaces ! Would recommend Peter without hesitation
