Lenght of travel by bus from Tirano to Milan : approx 2 hours and 30 minutes
Timings might change according to logistic needs or traffic conditions
IMPORTANT: In winter, the Bernina Express may offer limited panoramic views due to shorter daylight hours. The 4:14 pm departure from St. Moritz to Tirano (arriving at 6:39 pm) may reduce daylight scenery

4.0I loved that I did this trip in the winter … the snow was amazing and the walk in st Moritz was nice … the tour guide was knowledgeable and very informative … I would do it again on a day where the train leaving St Moritz earlier than 4 to have more time during day light

5.0Highlights include some of the most spectacular, unique scenery in the entire world, a friendly, informative and entertaining tour guide, and a professional bus driver who expertly traversed an extremely challenging route. St Moritz is cool, but most stores and restaurants were closed during our lunchtime visit. Bottom line: highly recommended, as the train ride will provide breathtaking moments.

2.0Disaapointedregarding the seat allocation during our recent journey on the bernina express My husband and I were both seated in the aisle seats;which significantlydetracted from the experience we had eargerly anticipated. As the bernina express is celebrated for its panoramic views, we had lookedforward to enjoying the spectacular scenery together.Unfortunately, being seated away from the windows made it difficult to fully appreciate the breathtaking landscapes that are the hallmark of this journey. This experience left us feeling quitelet down,especially since we had planeed this trip as a memorable shared experience.We were not informed during the booking process that we might not be seated near a window, which would have allowed us to make alternative arrangements or adjustment We kindly request that you review your seating allocation process to improve transparency and fairness for future passengers.

4.0Not much stay time in the towns we visited on the tour. 👎 The train ride was nice. Glad I did it. Probably would not do it again.
