• Nothing like what was booked: a very disappointing experience

  To begin with, when there are less than 24 hours left and you can no longer cancel for free, they inform you that the pickup is at 5:45 a.m., not at 9:00 as stated in the booking. And then, once they pick you up, you find out that the itinerary is not the one you booked and that you will only spend one hour in Gjirokastër, without a guided tour, and that you’ll spend the rest of the day on a beach in Ksamil, without visiting Ardenica or any place of interest other than a gas station. The experience has been horrible, and communication with the company was nonexistent. I almost never write negative reviews, but this experience was extremely awful, and for the first time I felt the need to report it so that no one else makes the mistake of booking that tour.

  The tour should be nice, but I never really did, as the departure is not at 9 as described, but at 5 , and for someone who has made a plan to do one tour a day and who has just returned from the excursion before the departure at 5 is too early. The first time, I received confirmation that it said departure at 9 , but then in the end only at 21 the previous day I knew that I had to leave at 5, so, 'first excursion canceled. The next day I check again on the site I still see this tour and rebook, as I'm really interested in this tour..... this time, but 'I thought to make sure that really the departure was at 9 and not at 5 and then, I contact the tour operator, but does not respond to my messages and contact the chat where I answer a Viator operator, telling me not to worry that the tour was at 9, and that to be more' quiet also sent me confirmation with time at 9 . At this point I believe the operator, sure of this tour, I change my plans, cancel a reservation for a tour in Shkodra that was scheduled for the same day, and at the end the mockery, in the evening calls me one of the tour operator and tells me that the departure at 9 there is no way that 'just a mistake, that if I want to go I have to leave at 5... why did not they notify me before?... In doing so I lost a day, as in Tirana I had already 'seen everything, and the other excursion I had canceled. Also the promise of a full refund was not exactly so, as all 2 bookings I had paid with paypal and in the end I lost the commissions.... basically canceled tour, changed program for nothing and commissions paid to paypal..... really a bargain , great experience..... Finally, I just wanted to say that despite all this tour is still bookable for the next few days at 9, when I was assured that at 9 there is no such thing.... I do not know if it is the fault of the tour operator or tripadvisor, but really unqualified behavior .This I never expected from tripadvisor, as its own tripadvisor the review leader in the end and 'just the first to which I have to give negative review.I was really disappointed
