Arthurs Pass located deep in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. You will be traveling on the Great Alpine Highway through the ever-changing remarkable landscapes. This tour highlights an example of great engineering, spectacular waterfalls, and famous filming locations.

The day will begin with a collection from your chosen accommodation before we hit the road towards Arthur’s pass, our knowledgeable and friendly guide will point out those stunning views along the way. While on this tour with us you will see a variety of green fields to rugged mountain ranges, lush forest and ice-fed lakes and rivers!

There are plenty of stops along the route, so we won’t be spending all day in the van although it is pretty comfy. Of course, we will also stop at those must-see Instagram worthy spots too! Before taking the world-famous TranzAlpine back towards the city.

Brilliant full day excursion. Lovely walk at Narnia & then onto Arthur’s Pass. Lovely walk up to waterfall which we found a little challenging but this was due to the amount of steps and our fitness level before our trip back to Christchurch on the TranzAlpine train - views amazing. Definitely recommend and Paul our guide was very helpful

Clive was great, really knowledgeable and friendly! All the stops were brilliant but definitely recommend adding on the jet boats :) Thanks Clive!

Beautiful scenery but the unexpected an hour delay of train ruined the experience due to lack of proper communication to us about the delay. We were kept in the dark if we did not message you guys.

We did mix of minibus and train which gives variety of views. Also highlight was Jet Boat which was an add on.

Amazing tour! Our guide Diana was very friendly and knowledgeable. The stops were well paced. The sheep farm is adorable. You can buy little bags of pellets and feed the sheep. You can get a hot drink there but nothing in the away of food. Although they do supply the tour lunches which are fresh and tasty. This is also where you have the opportunity to do a jet boat ride. Make sure you have extra money if you want to do this activity. Arthur’s Pass is a stunning location. Well wiorth visiting. You will get time to walk to the waterfall called the Devi’s Punchbowl. It’s mostly uphill and is reasonably tricky you’ll be glad you did it to see the spectacular falls. I chose the option of coming back to Christchurch by the Tranzalpine train (which is included in the price) That is a must do. You get to sit back and relax. All the seats have great views and you even get a table so you can purchase dinner. At the end of the trip Diana was there to meet us and take us back to our hotels. This was a great day out and l highly recommend Cheeky Kea tours.
