Full day tour from Hanoi with highlight destinations in Ninh Binh. Visit the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries and climb up 500 steps to Lying Dragon mountain to enjoy the breathtaking mountainous view. Enjoy a boat trip on the Ngo Dong river in Tam Coc, through majestic caves. After that, cycle to Bich dong pagoda, spend 20 minutes to discover the ancient Pagoda, was built in 1428. Enjoy the trip with our professional English Speaking tour guide. Have a excellent lunch and small group maximum 9 people on a limousine car. Enjoy fair-well drink before finishing the trip in Tam Coc or Hanoi.

7.00 – 07:15: Pick up guests in hotels from Hanoi Old Quarter 09:15: Arrive at Hoa Lu ancient capital, Visit Dinh King temple 10:30: Visit Mua Cave and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic river and mountains view by climb 500 steps up tp Lying Dragon Mountain 12:00: Enjoy traditional Vietnamese set menu lunch at local Bungalow 13:15: Enjoy a sampan boat trip in Tam Coc, passing through three caves: Hang Ca- Frist cave, Hang Hai – the second cave and Hang Ba- third Cave. 15:00: Cycle through the rice fields and villages to visit Bich Dong Pagoda 15:30: Visit the ancient pagoda- Bich Dong was built in 1428. Then Cyling through villages back to the parking area. 16:00: Leave Tam Coc for Hanoi after having a fair-well drink 18:30: The tour is ended in Hanoi

    It was a long and hot day however our guide (Nien) and driver adjusted the sequence of the tour to ensure we enjoyed the day. The lunch was very enjoyable and if we were not offered a drink there were plenty of spaces to get a drink and if needed there was always a WC made available. The van was very comfortable and the driver very safe. There was plenty of variety from a boat trip down the river, to hiking up a mountain to riding a bike to visiting a temple. A really nice blend of culture and fun. Recommended for a great day out.

    We had an excellent day trip to Ninh Binh and would highly recommend it. The itinerary was well planned and packed with highlights without ever feeling rushed. The boat ride through the stunning limestone karsts was absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our time in Vietnam. We also visited several temples, enjoyed a delicious local lunch, and had the chance to ride a motorbike through the picturesque rice fields, which was such a fun way to experience the countryside. The transportation was comfortable throughout the day, and we especially appreciated being part of a smaller group. It made the experience feel much more personal and allowed us to avoid the large crowds that often accompany bigger tours. Overall, it was a fantastic full-day excursion and a wonderful way to experience the beauty, culture, and history of Ninh Binh.

    Jerry was so friendly and informative! She made our trip so enjoyable by guiding us as well as giving us a lot of time to explore on our own. It was a full, but very filling itinerary! Also, we had complications with our pick up but they were super helpful and accommodating.

    Ninh Binh was an excellent trip and cultural experience, coming in May/June may not be considered the best weather as it is extremely hot. If you plan to travel during this period, remember to bring a broad rimmed hat, plenty of sunscreen, electric fan, UPF50+ clothing and electrolyte replacements, as heat strokes can occur. Our tour guide Phong was very knowledgeable and led the crew well. Bike riding during harvesting season was memorable and picturesque, riding along the rice paddocks with grains of rice on the road was fun. If you plan to see lotus in bloom, consider coming in July/August. Food for lunch was delicious! Thanks for the hot but amazing time!!

    The tour was amazing. We left early in the morning from Hanoi in a very comfortable van. Jerry, our tour guide, was superb. She explained many historical facts on the way to Ninh Binh and was really well prepared. All the spots we visited were super interesting, and the whole experience was very well organized. Thank you so much!

    Our driver Lucky and guide Phong were on time, energetic, very professional, made me feel relaxed and comfortable immediately. The limousine has cold air cond, awesome massage swats, drinks on ice complimentary, and Lucky was a safe and courteous driver very smooth at all times. Phong always gave very specific instructions at all stops and during the commute between was very informative without being too full on, good job Phong! We went during the summer yes it was hot and sticky but with a wide brim hat plenty of water and the right choice of sun smart clothing to cover up we didn't have a single issue and would highly recommend this day trip to anyone during these months. Thanks again!

    Very fun and informative trip. Well planned itinerery. Vũ/Stephen was awesome. Not the tour's fault, but I wish Vietnam as a country cared more about their natural monuments. Places like these aren't missed until they're gone. Hopefully more mountains get protected from mining. Great overall.
