Full day tour from Hanoi with highlight destinations in Ninh Binh. Visit the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries and climb up 500 steps to Lying Dragon mountain to enjoy the breathtaking mountainous view. Enjoy a boat trip on the Ngo Dong river in Tam Coc, through majestic caves. After that, cycle to Bich dong pagoda, spend 20 minutes to discover the ancient Pagoda, was built in 1428. 7.00 – 07:15: Pick up guests in hotels from Hanoi Old Quarter 09:15: Arrive at Hoa Lu ancient capital, Visit Dinh King temple 10:30: Visit Mua Cave and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic river and mountains view by climb 500 steps up tp Lying Dragon Mountain 12:00: Enjoy traditional Vietnamese set menu lunch at local Bungalow 13:15: Enjoy a sampan boat trip in Tam Coc, passing through three caves: Hang Ca- Frist cave, Hang Hai – the second cave and Hang Ba- third Cave. 15:00: Cycle through the rice fields and villages to visit Bich Dong Pagoda 15:30: Visit the ancient pagoda- Bich Dong was built in 1428. Then Cyling through villages back to the parking area. 16:00: Leave Tam Coc for Hanoi after having a fair-well drink 18:30: The tour is ended in Hanoi

Our guide Candy was an enthusiastic and passionate advocate for her country and the sights we saw. She provided lots of information about each place we visited, and was always concerned that we were enjoying ourselves. She is a gem! The one day tour is a great way to whet your appetite for Ninh Binh. We hit all the major attractions and it left us wanting to experience more. What an incredible and busy day!

Our group of friends had a great time on this tour. We were able to see the most beautiful views in Nim Binh, with easy logistics and so much important historical context thanks to our guide Hope. He answered every question we had and was able to provide great insight on the cultural significance of the stops. Would highly recommend to anyone in who’s staying in Hanoi.

The scenery speaks for itself - incredible place. Hop was also a brilliant guide, with excellent English and a very easy conversational style. He used parts of the tour as a platform for discussing elements of Vietnamese history and culture, and was very responsive to questions. Very interesting and would recommend!
