• Exceptional Ski Instructors in Zermatt — The Best We’ve Ever Had for Adults and Kids

  We had an outstanding experience with European Snowsport in Zermatt, working with two instructors — Dawid Sulka and Molly Thompson — and they were truly the best ski instructors we’ve ever had. Dawid coached me and my older child, focusing on carving and overall technique. What really stood out was how perceptive he is — he seemed to read the mountain conditions and our energy level better than we could ourselves, constantly adjusting the plan so the day stayed productive, safe, and fun. His knowledge of the resort is exceptional; he even showed us a shortcut that saved us at least an hour of queue time getting up toward the Matterhorn Glacier side, which made a huge difference to our day. We initially planned for just one day with Dawid, but he was so good that we extended to multiple days. By the end, my child had built enough confidence to ski a few black runs, which we honestly didn’t expect at the start of the trip. Molly worked with our two children, including our 4-year-old, and she was absolutely incredible. Our youngest had taken a few lessons before but hadn’t progressed much — Molly completely changed that. She used games, built confidence constantly, and made skiing so fun that our child didn’t want the lessons to end. By the end of the trip, our 4-year-old was skiing blue runs, which felt like a huge breakthrough. She was equally fantastic with our older child, who progressed to skiing reds confidently. What really stood out was the trust she built — our child usually doesn’t go off alone with instructors, but insisted on going with Molly independently because she felt so comfortable and engaged. Molly has a rare ability to connect with kids — patient, encouraging, and tireless — and she truly made them love skiing. We liked her so much that we extended lessons from just one day to full days Monday through Thursday. Overall, both Dawid and Molly combine excellent technical coaching with an ability to tailor the experience to each individual. They made our trip not only more productive but also far more enjoyable. If you’re skiing in Zermatt — whether as an adult looking to improve or with kids at any level — we cannot recommend them highly enough.

  Excellent ski camp for my son as well as prvate lessons! Both Kai and Carl were great instructors and my son loved every second of it

  I loved skiing with Charles he always has very good jokes he always gives very very good advice so that we can get better at skiing he always takes us too the best places I hope that he is our teacher again.

  I had Charles as my ski instructor we went to very nice slopes and very good restaurants I improved a lot and I had a lot of fun

  Our kids had a wonderful experience during their full week ski school in Zermatt. Despite challenging weather conditions, the instructors made the most of it and created both a fun and educational experience. Since returning home our kids have not stopped raving about the time they had. Special thanks to Kai who was an excellent instructor for our daughter - he was extremely supportive, easy to communicate with, and even shared videos with us afterwards detailing her progress. Would highly recommend.

  Charles was my instructor for a day, and he improved my skiing massively. I’m already quite a good skier, but he pointed out ways I can improve which have significantly helped. Charles is also great company and is always looking out for everyone’s best interests. For example, if someone’s toes are getting cold, he will get the whole group to go inside, rather than skiing on with that one person he’ll take care of the issue. I would highly recommend Charles if you’re looking for an instructor.

  We would highly recommend ES when you visit Zermatt. We booked an instructor for our children age 12 and 14 and could not be more impressed with their experience. Their guide Charles was beyond expectations. He was professional but friendly and his ability to build the kids confidence and push them to improve through the week was great to see. He sent us some great videos and photos each day to show their progress. We hope Charles is still with you next year so we can request him again!

  The experience was amazing. I have been going to Zermatt for more than 10 years and for 5 years I was trained by Yuriy. He’s an amazing coach, he explains everything in details, he’s always asking: how u feel and so on. We always go and have a rest after few hours and than continue skiing. My daughter skied with him also and she learned carving with him, she also says that he’s an amazing teacher and person. Next year, we will come again and my daughter want to learn how to snow board with Yuriy. Thank u for a wonderful experience again!
