  I loved my experience with Frontier! I was a volunteer and worked as a tour guide/translator. Cesar is a very knowledgeable guide on the tortugas and the caves. The land is beautiful!   Incredible experience in an environment surrounded by nature. Turtles are everywhere and can be seen from the dome and inside the reserve. The tour in the lava tunnels is an unforgettable experience and full of valuable information. Fully recommended, Julius and Caesar are very helpful and know a lot about the history and biogeography of the islands. The fresh juices, fruits and food offered were excellent. I would love to come back and highly recommend it, for kids and adults.

  I stayed 5 days at The Tortoise Dome Lodge and it was an amazing experience. It’s the perfect place to stay — comfortable, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. I slept great every night, with no noise, just the sounds of the forest. Breakfast was delicious every morning, made with fresh fruits from the property like oranges, guava, and passion fruit. You can really taste the difference. I loved walking through the fruit trees, seeing giant tortoises near the lodge, and relaxing in a calm and beautiful environment. I would definitely come back."

  I really enjoyed my stay at the lodge in the Galápagos Islands 😀. It was a good mix of conform and immersion in nature, with spacious rooms overlooking landscapes and wildlife literally steps from the door. You can see the turtles in the wild all around 🐢. Julio and Cesar help you with everything you need, making the experience like being at home. They also organise activities, like visiting lava caves and knowing more about the tortoises and the scientific history about the creation of the islands, together with a fruit taste 🍊. You can ask about everything because they know all the islands pretty well. The restaurant that they also have is really nice, fresh food, locally sourced, and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, the lodge offered an experience that combined adventure, sustainability, and relaxation. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Galapagos in a meaningful and comfortable way

  I stayed several days at The Tortoise Dome Lodge and it’s honestly a great place to stay. The dome is comfortable, quiet, and has everything basic you need to rest well. A big plus is that the stay already includes the guided tour, so you get to visit the giant tortoises, the lava tunnels, and the forest without paying extra or looking for other guides. Very convenient. Breakfast is simple but good, with fresh fruits from the property. If you’re looking for a safe, comfortable place surrounded by nature, this lodge is a very good option. I would recommend it.🌋🐢🌱

  Gracias We spent 4 amazing nights at The Tortoise Dome Lodge and we truly recommend this cabin for your stay. The place is very comfortable, with a huge bed, hot water, Starlink internet, and a very clean private bathroom. What we loved the most was the nature around us: giant tortoises walking freely in the garden all day, beautiful birds, owls, and a peaceful silence that makes you relax instantly. Breakfast was delicious, and the guided tour through the lava tunnels was spectacular. Julio and cesar the host, was always attentive and helpful. A complete and unforgettable experience.

  We spent one night in the dome and the next morning we walked the trails full of mandarins 🍊 and saw a lot of giant tortoises 🐢. Sleeping there and then having all that so close was magical. Definitely the most authentic glamping on the island! 🌞

  Amazing place to stay in the jungle for a getaway, solo or with a partner/friend. Close enough to town to access it but a nice way to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Galapagos jungle. And being right next to the tortoise reserve was so special.

  “I chose it because it’s easy to get to from Puerto Ayora, by bus, taxi or bike. And when you wake up you can walk among tortoises and fruit trees. Perfect for a traveler like me.”
