The train journey to Kuranda was amazing! The views were stunning, we received a map showing the route & all the place of interest. The village of Kuranda was really nice as was the butterfly sanctuary. The BBQ lunch was great & then the transfer to the rainforest village where we took a tour on an army duck which was also excellent! The only negative was the cancellation of the Skyrail part of the trip due to weather issues, which of course is no ones fault!

I travelled alone and had a lovely time, easy to find, easy to get to, easy boarding, slow journey through rainforest, great village to visit and very scenic cable car ride back. Highly recommend
Kuranda access and agenda set with tons of free time and flexibility!

The team provides the template, transportation and timeline then largely gets out of the way, allowing you flexibility to pace moments based on your actual interests and ability level. We loved the balance of nature and animals, stories from the Aboriginal people and different forms of unique transportation! It made the day go by quickly and feel like a total immersion in the region!

Would not recommend for USA TRAVELLERS. We paid in advance for train ride but were allocated seats as foreigners in middle seats with back to the view. We could not see any of the view we had paid to see. The people at the window blocked us up. Staff on the railway were not very kind or helpful to us as tourists. The speaker system on the railway was faint in volume. The guide he was explaining the site had an accent, and difficult to understand. In short, I would not recommend anybody from the United States. We get treated like second class citizens. Not unless Viator gets its act together.

Train ride up and cable car down are worth the cost of admission. Beautiful scenery across the board. Duck tours were a little anticlimactic, but always an enjoyable way to see an area. It is a destination location so temper expectations of food/service/support.

Kuranda village was a bit rushed, but pickup and drop off was seamless and there were close options for meeting points which were close to my hotel. I enjoyed the variety of excursions throughout the day.

It was a perfectly paced tour for a jammed packed day. The tour gave us maps and times so it was very easy to know how long to stay at each activity. It was incredible seeing the rainforest, petting kangaroos, experiencing the culture, and seeing all of the butterflies. Highly recommend
