5.00We booked this trip through the Viator App and the whole booking process was easy to follow with subsequent communications being excellent. This trip is excellent value for money and will be one of the best trips you will do on your holiday. You get a Skyrail over the rain forest and through the clouds which is amazing, you walk through part of the rain forest, you see the quaint village of Kuranda, you go to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary which is home to an array of stunning butterflies, you go to the Rainforestation Wildlife Park where you can pet the frendly kangaroos, walk around thr nice Zoo and go on a WWII DUK through the water in the forest, you get to watch an aborigine show and activities as well as trying your hand at throwing a boomerang before returning home on the Kuranda Scenic Railway which is amazing in its own right with beautifull scenery and views of waterfalls. The Bus Driver / Guide for the trip was also very good and explained the itinerary for the day very well. All in all, this is an excellent trip and I would highly recommend it to anybody.

The most inappropriate driver in Australia

1.00The rain forest tour was good, particularly the army duck tour. This said, Tropic wings couldn’t have chosen a more inappropriate driver. Their driver discussed the itinerary with the enthusiasm of a funeral director. When we asked for a clarification, he was instantly annoyed and scolded us for not studying the piece of paper he had given us. Is this Tropic Wings service model? We and others wasted time wandering around the cableway stations because of his unclear information. Considering the superb service we’ve received across Australia, Tropic Wings is an extreme exception. Kuranda is a good activity, but you need to find a better agency than tropic wings.

5.00The tour was very organized. The lunch was very disappointing. The steak was very tuff. None of the food could be considered BBQ. Mostly Asian food. No dessert.

4.00The sights were amazing as were the aboriginal presentations. We enjoyed the train ride and the cable car journey was an experience. The lunch was disappointing and in need of improvement.

5.00Great day of activities. Enjoyed the train & Skyrail. Enjoyed the Rainforest Nature Park, especially the Aboriginal experience, and the wildlife park. Everything on itinerary was accurate. BBQ lunch was OK, certainly plenty to eat from the buffet.
This is a MUST DO tour.

5.00One of the best, if not THE best, day tours I have ever been on. And that’s with a chunk in the middle that wasn’t necessary and a dinner that was pretty grim. The train, animals and canopy gondola are so amazing that they more than compensated for the rubbery steak and the dull padding.

5.00The tour is good as it has scenic train ride with a stop, skyrail with 2 good stops for different view of the Barron Falls and breathtaking rainforest canopy. The duck tour, cultural and wildlife activities in the Rainforestation centre and the butterflies sanctuary are informative while providing good fun and the lunch is decent. The only down side is it is DIY with no tour guide, though it is pretty easy to navigate with the briefing and handout and transport is seamless.
