  Good opportunity to get the feel of the area. How people live and make a living. Fishing, agriculture, education. Went through Mikmak indians place. Stopped at Lucy Montgomery house, author of her 7 books, good area to walk for an hour. Maura was a good guide.

  This was an excellent excursion. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out everything that you can imagine.

  A lot of fun! We went at the end of our trip, or two days before our trip ended. I think it would have been best to take this kind of tour at the beginning. The tour gives you a really well thought-out and detailed overview of some of the best tourist spots on the island, so if you do it in the beginning, you can go back to those spots mentioned in the tour and really enjoy yourself. If you're only spending a couple of days in PEI, I'd say definitely give this a try, if you're going longer, maybe do this sometime in the first couple of days being here.

  Your time at Green Gables is extremely limited. You wait in line to be hustled through the house leaving no time to explore the grounds or the informational exhibits at the entrance However you spend a very long time at a local jam and jelly shop allegedly to use the toilets. But there are very adequate toilets at Green Gables if the time was allowed to use them. The most disappointing tour ever.

  I didn't realize the history behind the stories of Anne of Green Gables and that the author had written so many books.

  If you are into the book, visiting the home and grounds is wonderful. Nice walk/hike thru the haunted forest. A well stocked gift shop.

  This tour was amazing. Our guides were so informative and helpful and shared the history and beauty of the island with us. You could definitely tell they loved their job and they loved their island!!!
