Your Private Group Lessons will consist of your individual group of 2-4 people ages 12 or older. 1. We will meet at the end of the parking lot on a small triangular beach. You can choose the best size water shirt and water shoes. 2. We will begin by doing a demo near the entrance of the water to help you feel comfortable with safety, paddling, pop ups on the board, and covering any questions you may have. 3. This will be followed by an hour of practicing your surfing skills. Our instructors will be helping tow you if you are struggling paddling by yourself. They will also be pushing you on waves and helping you get comfortable with catching the waves. 4. Once we paddle back to shore we will get any purchased photos/videos uploaded the same day and send an email by that evening for your lifetime memories! You are guaranteed to catch a wave even if you ride on your stomach, however most people will catch multiple waves standing during their first beginner lesson.

5.00I had an amazing experience with Jake from Manifesting Aloha Surf School. He was awesome — incredibly experienced, friendly, and patient throughout the entire lesson. You can tell he really knows his stuff, but what stood out most was how comfortable and confident he made me feel in the water. Jake is originally from Minnesota, which made him easy to connect with, and he brought such a relaxed, positive vibe to the lesson. He took the time to explain everything clearly and encouraged me the whole way. I would absolutely recommend Jake to anyone who’s trying to learn how to surf — whether you’re a total beginner or just looking to improve. Truly a great experience! 🌊🏄♂️

5.00What a great time. It was my first time surfing and so was my families. Jake was super cool, and very patient with us. He’s also a very great guy and you can tell he really cares about making his clients have a great experience. I highly recommend him and will definitely be giving him a call next time I’m in Honolulu!!

5.00Jake was absolutely awesome — he picked the perfect spot away from the crowds you usually get at Waikiki, and my husband and I had so much fun. He took tons of videos and photos, and the whole lesson ended up being the perfect present for my 45th birthday. Jake is super nice and chill, and he does a great job helping you catch waves. We 100% recommend Jake’s surfing lessons!

5.00Jake with Manifesting aloha surf school was easy to communicate with for any questions and getting our surfing lesson booked. We had never surfed before and were nervous but Jake was an awesome and kind instructor. My daughter and I had a great time at our surfing lesson and will book more lessons with him next time we are back in Hawaii.

5.00I had such a great first time surfing with Jake as my instructor! He was super knowledgeable and attentive throughout the whole lesson. He made the experience super fun and easy. I never surfed before and I was able to get up on the first try! Would highly recommend taking lessons with Jake!
