• Misled. Guide ended tour early, claimed Eurostar was on strike.

  Eiffel Tower was good. The lunch meal looked nice but was very forgettable. The rest of the tour was underwhelming. The guide, Anna, ridiculed the French people and society in general. I’m not a fan of the French but anyone who had a favorable view of Paris would have been mortified by the belittling of the culture (implying a difference between UK and France: lazy, rude, dirty, etc.). Lastly, as we were finishing lunch, Anna made a loud panicked announcement that we had to leave NOW because the Eurostar was going on strike and we risk being stranded in Paris if we did not make it back to the station immediately. There was no time to explore off the bus whatsoever. this was a very expensive tour, and there was no opportunity to do any shopping or explore away from the Eiffel Tower at all. Additionally, there was zero evidence of an actual strike since. This tour ended two days ago, and I still have found no evidence of a strike at all.

  1. Eurostar - very pleasant 2.25hrs, clean, efficient train. Get to station 1 hr early for departure in consideration of the large crowds, checkin, security, etc 2. Anna, our guide - Bravo! Great, experienced, knowledgeable, transparent, she went from car to car on the train, finding and welcoming her group and kept us together in Paris and did roll calls each stop 3. Bus ride in Paris to Seine River - got to see the whimsical streets of Paris, the beautifully designed architecture, some landmarks 4. Seine River Tour - one of the top highlights of the trip, crowded but easy to maneuver side to side for photos and great views of the Eiffel Tower and other landmarks 5. Eiffel Tower lunch - 3 courses, very elegant, tasty in a French kinda way, included two separate wines, bread, an appetizer, main course, yummy dessert, and coffee at the end. I did it for the experience, it was in the Eiffel Tower!! But, we would have only had 1.5 hours to tour after but that was cut due to threat of Eurostar strikes so we had to get back and get an earlier train out of dodge! Some folks bypassed the lunch and had about 4 hours to tour on own. It depends on what you really want to experience on such a short trip to Paris.

  It was an awesome experience. Anna was the guide and she was super awesome. The lunch at the Eiffel Tower was really good along with the tasty wine! Planning to take this tour again with my daughter next time. Great job Anna!

  Our guide was good. I thought we got time to go in the louve which we had no time. Food was not good. The girl who sat next to us had a beetle on her salad which made us not want to eat. Never finished desert which was the best part of the meal and never got to shop cuz we had to leave early due to a possible eurosyar strike.

  It was a long day, but very enjoyable. The Eiffel Tower was awesome. The lunch was fantastic. Also our tour guide Anna took care of us from the beginning to the end. She was fabulous.
