The Marble Mountains
Marble Mountain is familiar to almost everyone who has been to Da Nang. It is so well known that many people consider it as the symbol of the area, one of the highlights on Central Vietnam’s tourist trail. An interesting journey to Ngu Hanh Son will be a most relaxing time for tourists. The mountain is a tourist wonderland with dreamlike scenery, pagodas, grottoes… Situated about 8km southeast of Da Nang City, it resembles five fingers rising out of the ground. It was named after the basic elements of the universe: water, wood, metal, fire and earth.
Hoi An Ancient Town

Nice guide and nice driver. Sharing a lot and dedicated. Tour includes stops at 2 uninteresting local shops that is a waste of time... and money.

We had an awesome day exploring Marble Mountain in Da Nang and the charming streets of Hoi An. Our guide Ming kept us laughing and learning, while driver Ling made sure every ride was smooth as silk. Fun, beautiful, and totally worth recommending to anyone visiting the area!

Prepare for the heat and humidity and bring a shopping bag for the good deals. Strong knees needed for the marble mountain hike.

We had a lovely time. Hoang (Hoogoo) was our guide and he was fantastic. He personally toured us around the water marble mountain and Hoi An. We saw all the hidden cultural spots including the Buddhist temple and Hoi An's oldest house. The boat ride was picturesque and lovely, the driver took nice photos of us and we also got to put a candle in the water. Hoang took all of our photos on my fiancè's phone and did a good job. He went above and beyond, trying to book us a table at a restaurant so we could get a good view of the evening's fireworks display back in Da Nang which we only found out about because he told us about it. He even checked in on us to see if we were okay and had gotten back to our hotel that night.

Fabulous and highly organised tour. The mountain had beautiful views and pergodas and the tour into Hoi A was fabulous - releasing candles on the river and the silk factory, in particular. Our tour guide could not have been better. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable but very intuitive on what suited our pace and interests. One of the best tours we’ve ever been on, thank you!

Having a knowledgeable private guide makes all the difference. Mr TY was warm and engaging. He has a great sense of humor and really explained culture, history, and religious aspects very well, giving meaning to what we looked at. The trip to the marble factory was a bit of a set up, but it was lovely with no push to buy, but we did, happily. The walk up the view point for marble mountain was a good trek. Mr Ty gave excellent recommendations for dinner. We are vegan, and made sure we did not get ripped off buying the lanterns. We highly recommend the company and Mr Ty.

Brilliant tour, Dany was a great guide - friendly and helpful. Stunning boat ride with the lanterns with some great views too from marble mountain. It's incredibly hot so don't be surprised if you work up a sweat, and trainers are probably best if you want to climb to the top of the mountain. Would also bring cash if you want souvenirs and also there's the opportunity to stop at one of the clothing tailors. Overall a great trip which we'd highly recommend!

Tony, our guide, did an excellent job walking us through the charming, busy streets of Hoi An, both in daylight and at night, when the city is aglow with lights and lanterns. He helped make this experience of a lifetime even more special!
