Uros Floating Islands
Located 8 km. from the city of Puno. This excursion allows us to visit one of the most important attractions of the Bay of Puno of Lake Titicaca ancient civilization that lives within the reeds or totorales, an Aymara language community that maintain to this day their skills as fishing ,bird hunting and egg gathering. Men are skilled builders and drivers of totora rafts and women are skilled carpet embroiderers. this civilization prefers to stay isolated from civilizations on dry land.

5.00We got two tickets online for this tour and it was a great experience, we toured the floating islands of Urus in the afternoon, Roly, the guide, was very kind and nice telling us the whole story. 100% recommended!
