On the tour, you will be able to see a panoramic view of the Kotor bay while heading to the Hidden submarine tunnels. Next, we continue to the Blue cave and the ride close to Mamula island - an island with history. The real magic will happen in the Blue cave where you will experience the most beautiful blue sea and a place to swim. After, we will head to Our Lady of the Rocks where we stop and you can visit the church and hear the legend which surrounds the island. You will enjoy the panoramic view of the magnificent Perast while coming back to Kotor.

Mamula Fortress
The Mamula Fortress was built in 1853. At this time, Montenegro was under Austro-Hungarian rule. The fortress is named after the Austro-Hungarian general, Lazarus von Mamula. who commissioned the construction of the building. Mamula lays between two other fortifications from the same period – fort Arza, Luštica and Cape Ostro on the opposite side. The spot was chosen for its strategic position at the very entrance to the bay, but the story of Mamula didn’t end there. During both world wars, it was used as a prison due to its isolated position. The location gained a notorious reputation during World World 2, when the army of Benito Mussolini turned it into a concentration camp. Stories of unspeakable horrors can still be heard today. After this chapter in its history, the island and the fortification remained deserted for many years. Nowadays, Mamula is set to become a tourist resort; a project met with an ambiguous response from the locals due to the gloomy history of the place.
The Blue Cave is the largest of many sea caves on Lustica Peninsula. It’s called the Blue Cave because the way the light hits the sandy bottom and reflects up through the water makes the whole cave look blue. It’s very beautiful and it’s a lucky quirk because almost all of the coast here is rocky, not sandy. You can see the blue light shining out of the cave when you approach, but to really see it you’ve got to go inside and get underwater. Don’t forget your snorkel or goggles when you come here!

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Golden wave speedboat tours in Kotor. The company is reliable; stay true to their word/commitment on their tours. The speedboat skipper was Drago, who is a very nice gentleman; patient and kind. The water was too cold, so we could not go swimming. But going on the tour during winter allowed for a small group of 8 tourists, enough time to see the blue cave, with on-time departure and arrival into Kotor. I recommend them with no reservations. Thank you, Golden wave for making the boat trip, which allows you to see the spectacular Boka Bay from a different perspective, memorable!

5.00We had the most unforgettable boat ride through the stunning Bay of Kotor! Everything was perfectly organized, and our skipper, Igor, made the experience absolutely exceptional. His energy, knowledge, and passion for the area turned a beautiful trip into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We explored the best spots in the bay, stopped at hidden gems, and learned so much about the history and culture of this breathtaking place thanks to Igor’s engaging stories. The highlight? Jumping into the crystal-clear water over and over again – we just couldn’t get enough! If you’re visiting Boka, don’t miss this experience – and if you can, make sure Igor is your skipper. 5.00Excellent service from Philips, went above and beyond. Thank you I highly recommend it. One hour and half boat ride to the lady of the rock, btw the church close at 5:30 PM. Then, to Perast which is wonderful place to visit.

5.00Found this tour in town. Really wonderful. Covered boat or you could sit in sun. Submarine cave church plus blue cave. Better than what I could have booked on our ship.

5.00The speed boat was an incredible experience! Location was hard to find at first because the link was not clear to exact location. It was right by the water not within the old town. Otherwise our tour guide was incredible. Very knowledgeable, great boat driving skills keeping safety first. We had such an awesome time. Took us to cool sites. Can use the bathrooms at lady of the rock but plan to pay a couple euros and wait in a long line. Great experience! Make sure you look at the weather was a little chilly to and from. Went during the morning time but would have been nice to swim if it wasn’t chilly. Bring towels and bathing suit
We would book the same tour with another company!

1.00The lady sold us a boat tour with maximum 10 people on a small speed boat. But when we arrived we had to wait 20min and a big boat of 20 people came to pick us up. Don’t book a tour with this company.
