Private tour starts @9.30 AM we pick up at your hotel lobby anywhere in Hanoi city. Group tour start pick up from 8h00 to 8h30 AM at your hotel in Hanoi lobby in Hanoi Old Quarter (Hoan Kiem district). If your hotel is outside we pick up 8h50 -9h00 at the Opera House front. Very well organized. Excellent Bus, efficient program, good value for money. Tour guide Toan and driver Nam made the tour a smooth experience. Nice little cruise boat and for what we paid for the tour we were surprised how much food we got. I can certainly recommend the tour.

The funny jokes from Ben the torture guid. Every part of the adventure was extremely fun and memorable. The speed boat, the pearl factory, cave, the boat, tea island, the lunch, tea time, every minute was amazing. I would recommend again and again 10 out of 10.

We booked a private tour because we had limited time and wanted to customize our activities. Nga our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. The tour included pick up and drop off from our hotel in Hanoi with a driver. Our private boat staff were very friendly and made us lunch. We toured the rock features up close in a small paddle boat and visited the caves.

We opted for a private tour due to our limited time and our parents' limited English proficiency. The journey to Halong Bay was surprisingly swift, only taking two hours. Our tour guide, Phuc, was exceptional. He provided us with a wealth of information and communicated fluently in Chinese. The check-in process was efficient, and the boat excursion proceeded seamlessly. We enjoyed a 30-minute ride on a smaller boat to explore the tunnels, followed by an hour inside the enormous cave. It was a fantastic day, made even more enjoyable by our Chinese-speaking guide. I enthusiastically recommend his services.

Ha Long bay is beautiful BUT Knowing we had to be at certain time back in Hanoi, We booked four hours boat tour. Instead, the operator moved us to another group that: 1. Lasted 6.5 hours. 2. We had to pay extra 580K dong, others didn’t. Came back and lost other activity booked, and had to leave early morning so it was really inconvenient for us.

The tour was very affordable and fun. Tommy is very friendly, energetic and makes the entire experience enjoyable. As others mentioned, bring enough cash with you although there are ATMs available at the port before the boat departs. You can pay 230000 vnd extra to get on the speed boat in addition to kayak/bamboo boat. Just one thing is that the entire tour runs by Vietnam timeline, as in they are pretty much always late, which you will get used to once you spend enough time here. Our flight was at 12:00am on the same day, and we arrived in Hanoi around 9:00 pm. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you!
