Experience the upbeat and intriguing uptown "Mojo" area of San Luis Obispo by tasting your way through five unique restaurants. You may taste french style rotisserie meats, local grown produce, elote off the cob, local beer, chocolate shakes, speciality cocktails, clam chowder, thai food etc. This tour includes all food and alcoholic drinks, no surprise expenses here! Tours are approx three hours, walking a total of 1.5 miles. This tour is suitable for flexitarians, pescatarians, and omnivores. We can not fully accommodate vegetarians or vegans at this time. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. This tour includes a a moderate amount of walking and we recommend wearing comfortable foot wear, and a light layer as evening temperatures drop quickly. We will be visiting 5 destinations in total.

It was our very first time to join a walking food tour and Taste of SLO hit the jackpot! Our host, Victoria was very welcoming and informative, we had great time with 2 other couples in the group. We were offered very generous amount of food and several drinks, after stopping at 5 tasty places, we were so full and happy. This is a very educational excellent experience to learn about the eateries in SLO. We highly recommend this tour and we guarantee, you won’t regret it! One of the best food tours I've ever done. Excellent food at each stop - I couldn't pick a favorite because they were all that good. Ang was a great tour guide and a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. Highly recommend!!!

This tour was selected for us as part of a holiday package and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more! A great selection of eateries who offered delicious tastings of food and drinks that made us want to come back. Every visit was extremely well organised and we were made welcome at each venue. Tasting portions were substantial and we definitely didn’t need dinner afterwards! A huge thank you to our guide Victoria who made the whole experience both fun and informative. Highly reccomend!

We came to town to visit our Cal Poly student and took him on the Mojo food tour. We had a great time with Victoria. She was a wonderful guide and host for the various restaurants which were all good. We went away happy and full.

We had a great time with 8 people in our group and varied selection of food and drink and generous portions! Also a perfect amount of walking and history mixed in. Great local establishments! Our tour guide, Victoria was very knowledgeable and energetic!

What a great way to see this unique and special city and sample/experience so many different styles of food. I had a blast hearing about the local restaurants, the local products and hearing the stories of the people that make small towns like SLO (and the mojo tour) so wonderful and important to our melting pot of a country. The tour definitely brings to life the stores of the owners, their food and the community for us all to enjoy. Huell Howser would have been proud to walk with our group and share in this time as well 🤗 And yes come hungry, and you will leave extremely happy!

This tour was just so good - everything from start to finish - the food, drink and our tour guide, Angee! Why do you go on a food tour - to taste food at different restaurants and local cuisine - this tour does NOT disappoint! We made 5 stops and tasted some amazing food and drinks, too! The variety of the food was nice - from pizza to thai! The portions were very generous at each stop that we could barely finish the food at our last tasting stop. Angee was a great tour guide with her knowledge of the restaurant stops, SLO and the entire area. Our group of 4 had so much fun! If you live locally or on vacation visiting this area - highly, highly recommend this tour. It's the perfect mix of food, drink and fun! Thanks, Angee!!

I took the downtown tour two years ago, and it was so good that I decided to do the uptown tour on a recent trip. Now, sometimes when you go back to repeat a great experience, the second time around is a letdown or a downright disappointment. NOT the case here. The second time was just as good as the first, if not better. Victoria was a wonderful host - personable, friendly, and knowledgeable about the places we visited and SLO in general. And I was fortunate to share the experience with three other customers who were as friendly and personable as Victoria. I can't say enough good things about this experience.
