We take you to the most unknown corners of the island, to discover the most important sacred sites of the pre-Hispanic era. Roque Bentayga, one of the highest monoliths in the world, was once the sacred mountain par excellence! As for Risco Caído, it is the most spectacular temple of fertility on the island. We are official guides approved by the Government of the Canary Islands and mountain guides. No one knows better than us the art of sharing our knowledge of geology, flora and archaeology. With us, you will not only see the pre-Hispanic past of Gran Canaria, you will live it!

In the heart of Gran Canaria lies one of the largest collapse craters in the world: La Caldera de Tejeda. For the indigenous inhabitants, this crater was the sacred place par excellence. On its edges, the most important temples from the pre-Hispanic era are still visible. These caves, dug into the rock, were decorated with engravings and cave paintings. The spectacular landscape, with vibrant colours and unparalleled beauty, transports us through time, to the pre-Hispanic era! A magical excursion! We leave in a small group, with a maximum of 8 participants. Important information: * Every Wednesday between October and May * Distance: 7 km. Ascent: 200 m. Descent: 380 m.

5.00In October I went on a beautiful hiking tour through the mountains of Gran Canaria with Mogán Verde, and I can highly recommend it to everyone! The organization was perfect: we were picked up on time from our hotel and returned safely at the end of the day. The weather was brilliant, which made the experience even more special. Our guide, Sofie, was fantastic. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the nature of the island, and she made sure we not only took a great walk, but also learned more about the history and flora of Gran Canaria. The route was well chosen, with breathtaking views and a fine alternation of challenging sections and quieter sections. It was clear that the guides of Mogán Verde pay great attention to the well-being of the hikers. Halfway through the trip, a lovely picnic was offered, perfect to relax and enjoy the view. Everything was well arranged, and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. I look forward to walking with Mogán Verde again in the future. This day was one of the highlights of my holiday!

5.00This was my absolute favourite experience of the holiday. Sofie was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic - we learnt a lot about the Gran Canaria. The hike was amazing; so beautiful. I would love to have some more adventures with Mogan Verde - thank you!

5.00As a keen Munro hiker I was excited to explore the mountains after so many year of coming to Gran Canaria, Sofie has incredible knowledge of the history and area, I am in complete and utter envy of what she knows and her multi lingual skills, Patricia enhancing the journey with her energetic engery and her amazing driving skills!! I will certainly be booking again! Even if I move to the area!
