Located about 70 km to the northwest of HCMC, Cu Chi tunnel is the miniature of the creative and transformed battle of Cu Chi people and soldiers in the fierce fight, lasting for 30 years against the aggressors for independence, freedom of the country. Cu Chi Tunnels
9:15 am: You will arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels site before the majority of larger bus tours arrive. Watch a brief introductory ‘propaganda’ video to the Cu Chi area. 9:30 am: Explore the tunnel site, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions etc.), a firing range and much more. Try the local cassava root that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years. 11:30 am: Enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese traditional lunch by the river. 12:30 am: Say goodbye to Cu Chi Tunnel and return to Ho Chi Minh City.

5.00My husband, three year old son and I took a private boat tour to the Cu Chih Tunnels with Phat as our guide and Bao as our driver. Bao was a wonderful driver and got us there and back safely and comfortably. The boat was equipped with croissants, fresh fruit, water, Soda and beer. Phat was just an incredible person. He took such great care of our son and they were best friends by the end of the trip. He also slowly and carefully explained everything to us and our son and answered all of our son's questions with the utmost care and patience. The on-site lunch was also tasty. We felt so lucky to have had this experience with Phat. We highly recommend the tour to anyone looking to visit the tunnels without having to sit in hours of traffic. Thank you!

5.00This was an amazing tour! Really smooth boat ride to get you to the tunnels nice and early. We had Minh as our tour guide and he was fantastic and explained the history very well. He was also very kind and welcoming, with a good sense of humour!

5.00Fun, efficient and exceptional service by Banana! Banana is full of humour and adds to making this trip unforgettable. Having breakfast on the way, and lunch after the tour was great too! Going by speedboat is definitely the only way to go & is a great way to see Saigon from a different perspective - highly recommend to all ages!

5.00Amazing way to do the tunnels. Got there before all the buses so was a quieter more peaceful experience. Christer our tour guide was the one to have with young children, he took them under his wing and made it so adults could experience it too. Highly recommend Saigon river tour. Worth every cent.

5.00We absolutely loved the Speedboat Cu Chi Tunnels tour— such a fantastic way to experience this iconic site. Travelling by speedboat was a highlight in itself. It was fast, comfortable, and scenic, and getting out on the river felt like a peaceful escape from the city before diving into history. Arriving early also meant we beat the big crowds, which made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. The guides were knowledgeable, engaging, and respectful, explaining the history of the Cu Chi Tunnels in a way that was informative without being overwhelming. They were great at reading the group and answering questions, and everything felt well paced and thoughtfully organised. The tunnels were fascinating and humbling, and the tour struck a great balance between education and experience. The food provided was also excellent — fresh, tasty, and well timed. Overall, this tour felt premium, well-run, and absolutely worth it.
