9:15 am: You will arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels site before the majority of larger bus tours arrive. Watch a brief introductory ‘propaganda’ video to the Cu Chi area. 9:30 am: Explore the tunnel site, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions etc.), a firing range and much more. Try the local cassava root that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years. 11:30 am: Enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese traditional lunch by the river. 12:30 am: Say goodbye to Cu Chi Tunnel and return to Ho Chi Minh City.

5.00The Cu Chi tunnel excursion was awesome! Moon was our guide and she was very knowledgeable, personable, and friendly! She used to lead soldiers through the tunnels years ago, so I don’t think we could’ve had a more experienced or informative guide! She took care of us the entire trip. She treated us to several local fruits and provided us with bottled water and hand wipes throughout the boat trip to and from the tunnels. She kept track of all of the members of the group and made sure we were all accounted for. The tunnels were quite short and narrow in many places and you needed upper body strength to get in and out of one of the holes you can try out that were used to hide and camouflage the VC. If you’re claustrophobic, I wouldn’t recommend trying out the holes or tunnels! I have bad knees so I did not go into the tunnels. My husband is 5 foot 11 and weighs 190 pounds and the tunnels were definitely very narrow for him! We would highly recommend this excursion with Moon as your guide to anyone.

5.00We had a fantastic day with Dung. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting insights about the history of Vietnam as well as the Cu Chi Tunnels. The speedboat to the tunnels was also absolutely the best way to go — we beat the rush and arrived before the crowds, which made the visit much more enjoyable!

5.00We had a great time with Moon. She was very informative, knowledgable and experienced. The boat trip was a great way to get to the Cu Chi Tunnels - nice breeze in the 30+ degrees heat and faster than bus! The tour of the tunnels was brilliant. There’s a lot more there to see than I expected. We saw various tunnel entrances, different types of weapons used (you can also shoot them!) and a variety of traps! The actual tunnels have 3 levels to experience. We weren’t brave enough for level 2 or 3 but level 1 was a good enough taster of what the Viet Kong went through. Moon was very friendly and made sure we understood the information she was giving us and invited lots of questions. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about the Cu Chi Tunnels. Booked everything direct through WhatsApp and found the communication to be excellent.

5.00This was a fantastic way to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. Picked up from our hotel by our guide, taken to the port and then it was an hours speed boat ride to the tunnels. Water, croissants & fruit was provided en route. Our guide, Mr Chi was brilliant. Informative, fun and spoke excellent English. He knew the best way to avoid the crowds so we got the most out of the experience. After the tunnels, lunch was provided (vegetarian or vietnamese) which was very tasty. Then it was another hour speed boat ride back to HCM for early afternoon. Thoroughly recommend this trip and Mr Chi as your guide!

5.00Expensive but good service and very friendly staff. This mode of transportation saves 1 - 2 hours each way versus taking a bus. We also reached the tunnels early and had a head start on the crowds. If the budget is tight, it’s hard to justify the cost of the speedboat. Lunch was actually pretty good.

5.00Great way to get to and from the Cu Chi tunnels. Danny and his team were excellent. Danny very knowledgeable. Interesting visit and a very good lunch at the Tunnels. Plenty of water, fruit etc on the boat.

5.00It was an amazing trip to the Cu Chi tunnels! 100% recommend doing it by boat because the river is beautiful and the air feels really nice in the heat. Danny was a great guide, he keep the energy flowing as we explored all around and gave good information about the serious details of the place we were visiting.
