Experience the real Middle-earth in a 2.5 hour fully guided tour inside the Hobbiton Movie Set, take photo's inside The Hobbit Holes & taste the locally brewed cider or beer in The Green Dragon Inn.
We then head to Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Marvel at Mother Nature's light display as you walk through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto.

5.00Great tour and a very knowledgeable guide. All 3 wineries we visited were interesting, especially comparing the wine types. Lunch at the first stop was excellent. A nice touch was stopping to view the gannet colony.
Among the best: unforgettable, delightful tour of Hobbiton and glow worm cave.

5.00This was a wonderful day. Among the best tours we’ve ever taken. Our driver John was, knowledgeable, funny, and a safe driver. Hobbiton was amazing and our guide Ana was delightfully engaging. The waltomo caves were very cool as well. We highly recommend this tour. It’s a small group of around 20. You would not regret it. There were a couple of opportunities for light snacks or a hearty meat pie for lunch. Yummy!

5.00Raymond was great….personable, knowledgeable, and kept things moving. It was a good sized group. Maybe in the future it would be beneficial to know if a small child was included in the group.

The tour was very well organized, with a relaxed pace and beautiful stops that allowed us to really enjoy both the landscapes and the local culture. A special thanks goes to John, our guide: professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and at the same time friendly and easygoing. He shared so many interesting facts, local stories, and great tips along the way, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. You can genuinely feel the passion he has for his work. 5.00Booking confirmation all the way to pick up time arrangement were well organized. The staff are very responsive. Our guide David was loads of fun and took care of our group, always working ahead to ensure a smooth trip. I would definitely recommend Auckland & Beyond Tours.
