We then head to Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Marvel at Mother Nature's light display as you walk through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto.

It’s pretty dark inside but they have a good railing situation. Very informative and the acoustics inside the cave are phenomenal. Hopefully someone in your group will sing.

The driver/tour guide ensured our safety along the way to our destination. He gave us more insights about some of the geographies in New Zealand as he drove us to our destination.

Adil was a great guide and driver. He was upbeat and informative throughout the long day, which made the trip enjoyable. The van was clean and comfortable. The bulk of the price of this tour is for the entrance fee to Hobbiton and the caves.

Hobbiton is fun to see even if you haven't seen the movies. Our guide at Hobbiton, Rob, was wonderful and made the experience very enjoyable. Waitomo caves were nice. Long way to go for a short experience but still felt it was fun. The scenery on the drive was beautiful.

This was a great tour with Hobbiton studio being the star attraction! The Waimoto cave tour was pretty nice too. The tour company did a good job of coordinating the logistics, the tickets, providing guidance and information about New Zealand and keeping us updated. I would recommend using Auckland and Beyond tours.
