Visit two of the top destinations in New Zealand in one exciting day trip!
Experience the real Middle-earth in a 2.5 hour fully guided tour inside the Hobbiton Movie Set, take photo's inside The Hobbit Holes & taste the locally brewed cider or beer in The Green Dragon Inn.
We then head to Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Marvel at Mother Nature's light display as you walk through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto.

5.00Highly recommend this tour for a quick safe and fun day trip to Hobbiton and the glow work caves. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved both! Dave was our guide and very knowledgeable about NZ history and offered fun facts throughout.
Hobbitton needs to be seen!

5.00Fun trip with Raymond from Auckland & Beyond. Super fun to see Hobbitton, which, by the way, also has very knowledgeable and entertaining guides. Waitomo Cave is exciting – not because of the cave, but because of the so-called “glow worms”.

5.00Great tour with guide Raymond, everything was organized very well. Raymond was very funny and provided us with lots of information/fun facts about the sights and New Zealand in general. Regarding the two destinations, Hobbiton is absolutely great, especially if you are fan of the Lord of the rings. Waitomo caves were less spectacular in my view.

5.00Raymond was great. At first I was not sure as he was all business like. But he was just making sure everything was correct so we all had a good trip. He provided good touring tips, and information along the way. Appreciated his professionalism and would book with him again. Just great service.

5.00Pickup on time, Raymond kept us on schedule. Hobbiton was great and so were the caves. This is a 12 hour trip roundtrip. The ride to and from Auckland is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours each way.
