Experience the real Middle-earth in a 2.5 hour fully guided tour inside the Hobbiton Movie Set, take photo's inside The Hobbit Holes & taste the locally brewed cider or beer in The Green Dragon Inn.
We then head to Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Marvel at Mother Nature's light display as you walk through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto.

5.00Nancy was a great guide! Her stories were fun, she pointed out so many things along the way, she made a long drive seem much shorter, and she even pulled over to let us feed an Emu:-) She gave clear directions so we never felt hurried or lost. She was always visible during the transitions times between tours and gathering back on the bus. It was truly a wonderful day! I’m so glad we chose A&B Tours rather than going on our own.

5.00It was a full day of fun. The combination tour was very well coordinated. Nancy our driver and guide was amazing. She shared many stories of New Zealand with her personal experiences. She made this a very memorable trip for our family.

5.00Had an excellent time on this tour with our guide Nancy. She filled the driving time with lots of interesting tidbits about the towns, New Zealand and Maori culture. The Hobbiton and glow worm tours were lots of fun. Highly recommend

5.00The tour is amazing and our driver was knowledgeable and friendly person . I just wanted to advise you that If you are prone to motion sickness, i recommend getting a good night's sleep and taking motion sickness medication the night before the tour as it will be a long drive.

5.00Really enjoyable tour. Simon, the guide, was a great commentator & had a constant stream of facts about Auckland & the countryside between the city & Hobbiton/Waitomo caves. The Hobbiton set is amazing, the tour is very well organised & the facilities onsite are very good. Waitomo glowworm caves are beautiful inside. The cave tour is short but the guides are knowledgeable & friendly.

5.00Our driver, Raymond, safely drove us to Hobbiton and the Glow Worm cave. His talking points were relevant and interesting. It was a long day, but he brought out the chips and cookies at the right time for the ride home. Only a beer for the ride home could have made it better.🤣

5.00We had a fantastic day with Raymond as our guide! He was friendly with a good sense of humor. He gave us great tips that enhanced our tour of the Hobbiton Movie set, and told us inside facts that we didn't learn on the tour. The caves and seeimg the glo worms was really cool too. A great tour!!

5.00The tours were both quite unique and memorable. The driver / guide for the day was very delightful and informative. The vehicle however was a packed sardine can for over 5 hours of commute time.extremely un comfortable. Too many rows, seat recline disabled. Worse than an airline coach seating. My neck is still soar. Would never do it again.
