  This was a really good tour. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Hobbiton is everything I heard about.the caves were an added bonus. Nothing else like it

  A really good day. Adil was a perfect guide. I wish I’d not forgotten my cash because he deserved a good tip! All aspects of the day were really enjoyable , Adil was really concerned to give his customers a good day and clearly cared . A lovely guy.

  The Hobbiton tour was amazing. The surrounding farm was beautiful. Seeing the film set makes me want to watch all the films again. It was a wonderful experience.

  We are so glad we selected the combination of Hobbiton with the Waitomo Glow worms. Raymond was our Driver/Guide was and he shared alot of information of surrounding area we passed through as well as the history of New Zealand. Both places are a must see while in Auckland.   Very well looked after by our driver. Early start to get on the road but worth it to see all that we did. Good day out

  Amazing Our driver Adil was awesome. He had so many fan fucts about the areas we drove through. And so much knowledge about history of New Zealand. He made the drive to and from very enjoyable. The Hobbiton was really worth it. The guide Andrew was super fun and high energy. The Hobbiton itself was litteraly magical ! 10 out of 10 The caves were fun, but the boat ride was what made it special. The sight of the glow worms from the boat was like stepping to a different reality.

  Outstanding tour guide, the driver treated everyone like family and we felt the love! John is highly recommended, if you luck out and he is your driver you hit the jackpot. The tour was fun and informative, everyone was so relaxed and helpful. Starting with the Hobbiton Experience, Casey was such a delight to guide us through the movie set. He is a local and loves what he does, and it shows! Ocean (sp?) was a great guide through the Waitamo caves, it was a short but fascinating and fun experience. The glow worms are very interesting.   This day was indescribable. As a LOTR fan the Hobbiton tour was beautiful beyond belief and incredibly well organised. They make sure not to let too many people in at a time so it is an enjoyable experience for everyone. The Glowworms were also, there are no words. Our driver was very friendly and accommodating and the van was nice! Now unfortunately I don’t remember the driver’s name, but she gave us some delicious apples and figs from her mothers kitchen! Surely that’s enough for an identification. 10/10/10 tour P.S. also as an unexpected extra we saw an ostrich and an emu (don’t count on it on your trip)
