Fall in love with the Alexander family sheep farm, just as acclaimed director Sir Peter Jackson did, as you journey through the unequivocal beauty of the land with the mighty Kaimai Ranges towering in the distance. Your guide will escort you around the set, showing the intricate detailing, pointing out the most famous locations and explaining how the movie magic was made. You will be fully-guided around the 12-acre set: past the colourful Hobbit Hole™ doors that scatter the hillsides, before arriving at Bagshot Row™ for a glimpse of the interior of a humble Hobbit’s home. Finally, you will arrive at the world-famous Green Dragon™ Inn where you will receive a complimentary, exclusive Hobbit™ Southfarthing™ beverage to conclude your own Middle-earth™ adventure.

5.00Highly recommend. This tour was fabulous, so interesting and well run. Attention to detail and love was clearly seen throughout. Our guide clearly loved the movies and what he was doing. Lunch was delicious.

5.00You don't have to have watched any movies and still enjoy it.. Bit of walking up hill. So make sure you don't wear high heals. Recommend....please have something about the characters and photos so we can get an idea who you are talking about.. We are inspired to now watch them.

5.00Hobbiton is already, automatically the best place on earth, however our tour guide, Rob, made it just that much better. He had facts, and jokes, puns and quips, and so much deep knowledge. We really appreciated Rob!! Love the new walk through feature of the Hobbit home. So many wonderful little details. 100% TELLING EVERYONE TO GO TO THIS ADVENTURE!

5.00Can recommend this to anyone!!!! We have not watched 1 movie but the Tour Guides makes you feel part of the movie all the same....Shout out to Rob for having a great sense of humor and making the experience unforgetable!
