  Sharing Hobbiton again with my friend from the 'States was great! Amazing work an the tiny details all over the shire by the crew. Liam gave a great tour.

  It’s a really nice place to visit especially if you are a avid fan of the hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Must visit!

  We honestly weren't sure quite what to expect from the tour but it was one we will never forget - a top-notch NZ experience we thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. Although the whole walk through the village was delightful, going through the Hobbit house at the end was truly magical. We booked the lunch tour and the food was delicious. We had James Higgins as our tour guide and he was awesome! So interesting to listen to and we really enjoyed his jokes and puns. An all-round unexpectedly brilliant experience that we would recommend to anyone travelling nearby.

  Everything was well organized. Our tour group was not to big and and we felt we got time to explore all the sites. Our guide Sam was awesome and we had a great time. I recommend to buy our tickets in advance.

  Loved the tour especially through the hobbit house. Also best lamb burger ever. Coeliacs in family enjoyed the gluten free options at the cafe and also had gluten free ginger beer and apple cider at the Inn.

  I messed up the arrangements but all was well and my two American friends and I absolutely loved getting in. We thought there was not room but finally got it. I had been there some years ago and there was new "holes" and scenery. A bit tough for myself as I have arthritis in my feet and the little "hills" were slow. Wouldn't have missed it for the world!

  Was a lovely experience and we really enjoyed it. The set was great. I think they can add to it with adding in some real life Hobbits or an actor portraying Gandalf.   As a LOTR fan this was not to be missed and felt like a dream come true. The attention to detail is outstanding, and the guide (whose name I've already forgotten sadly) was knowledgeable and entertaining. Will absolutely go again if I visit NZ another time.

  Great setup, you are immersed in the story from the coach trip to the set and then again on the short trip back again to the visitor hub. The walk around the film set is amazing!

  I loved the whole experience. I have wanted to go for so long and it exceeded my expectations. I would definitely go again, just loved it.
